  1. BBQ chicken legs and BBQ frogs legs. Yes I know, boring...
  2. LOL! It's the Western Ave. store. Same place I had the name of the road wrong. They only have the $79 packs left. Or so they say. Glenmont still says they have a few packages left. No details. I love it! LOL
  3. Just so everyone knows, I am not trying to be argumentative. It's cracking me up at the difference in calls. I am going to call both again as soon as I hit the post button. We will be at the Washington Ave. store tomorrow. If I find the display I will take a pic. The Glenmont, well, if we get the bid I might be in that area tomorrow as well. That one I can't say for sure. Calling now.
  4. What solutions? Any wall or fence will not stop the problem. You think all the illegal arms and drugs come walking, boating, or driving across our borders? No! They get flown in just like many of the illegal immigrants. What's next? Put a bubble around the USA to protect us? Walls and bubbles are no solution! That will never happen. Like I said already, money talks and the corrupt turn away. If you are trying to turn a bad spin on Trump, you picked the wrong issue. I don't think he means actual walls. I think it's metaphorical. Create a better line of defense against illegals. Step up security.
  5. I have never had a favorite tree on land I hunted. I have yet to own land, so no fav tree either. However, I have always tried to get a specific site in one of the campgrounds I frequent. It's on the outside of the loop and I do have a tree I have nourished with recycled beer and watched grow over the past 20 years. Not sure if that counts, but if that tree was to be cut down I would miss it. Not trying to be a wise guy either. That's the only tree that has been a part of my life that I remember.
  6. I stand by my girly glass! LOL
  7. Go a bit further and hit Cooperstown lake. While you are there you can take an hour or two and hit the baseball Hall Of Fame.
  8. I have thought about that. I have to agree. When you are a farmer, you put fences to keep bad critters out and your critters in. Which is why I think there will be no walls. Double edged sword. No matter how you fall on it you will get cut.
  9. Don't do it Elmo! Reading this thread has me drinking some great beers. But, eventually you will buy a girly glass to drink those good beers from. Or, when it comes to a glass, you will ruin the beer by putting it in a Jets glass.
  10. I doubt there will be any walls. Dare I say it?....Yes, yes I think I shall speak my mind about the situation. We have so many illegals getting past the BP over the years it's insane. I understand that BP is understaffed, but it seems like they should be catching more. Just my opinion. Something seems off. Perhaps, just putting this out there............. $$$$ in the pocket is worth a look the other way.....Just sayin'.
  11. You got me curious if the site was wrong. So I called both stores. Washing Ave. Extension (518)869-4694 Glenmont (518)432-6120 Both said they had them in stock. Gelnmont said they didn't have much left but did have them.
  12. Just looked, maybe Walmarts site is misleading, site says you can pick them up in the Glenmont and the Washington Ave. Extension stores. Both in Albany County.
  13. Happy B-Day ants! Hope you have a great day.
  14. We picked up the $50 pack last year at BJ's. While shopping today Wally World had some and so did Shop Rite. We had some left over from last year and used them up for Memorial Day weekend. I used a few of the small ones and the neighbors behind us little boy was out and asked if we had anymore. They walked around to out side yard and I used them up. He loved it.
  15. They opened up NYS to allow them last year. Some counties blocked them though. Even for little buggers they are fun for the kids or a boring evening in the yard.
  16. This thread has been bad for me. Got me drinking fancy beer from a fancy glass now. LOL Spent the morning looking at a house and a trailer. Will be putting a bid on the trailer. Spent the afternoon painting the g/f's parents guest room. Now just relaxing with a Long Trail Double Bag.
  17. Nice! Any Walleye's hitting?

    Lock 8

Anyone ever fish this on the Rotterdam side?
  19. That's not bad for first time shooting and iron sights. The more you shoot her the more you will dial it in. I'd still go with getting a scope to tighten up the groups. Nothing better then being 100% happy with a new gun!
  20. You can camp on most state land without a permit for three nights. After that you need a permit. Some may require a parking pass, or maybe even a pass to camp, so checking that lands specific web page or calling NYS is the best route. I used to do it a lot. It's 150' from trails, roads and water sources like streams and ponds. EDIT: Never in those three areas though.
