  1. I didn't post this to be an a$$. I posted this because after my ethics were brought into question, I was beyond ticked off. So I wanted to know what the deal was in people posting from a phone, and the time was off. I can live with the basic thread time offset. But, again, I have to go back to that quote. That's off! way off! I didn't come here to cause trouble, but, I sure as he** am not gonna be treated like some POS.
  2. That still doesn't explain a time offset on a quote. If it's a "Quote", like I said, It's a direct copy of the original post. So this time off-set looks suspect. I am sorry, I really am not trying to be a jerk here, but this just isn't right.
  3. Looks like a "Monkey Paw" to me......Just sayin..........
  4. What about Brenneke's? High end, but, worth it. Also remember, just because it might be a Remmy, Remmy ammo may not shoot right. That was just an example. Many times you need to fit the ammo to the gun.
  5. Got mine from my local City Hall. Looked everything over before I left, everything was fine. It's not camo, it's yellow. Is the camo a special order? I was in Dicks, decided to grab my tags, but the DEC line was down. So I went to CH. I wasn't offered an option on color.
  6. I doubt buckshot will ever be legal in NY again. Too erratic. You can't get a good pattern on a stable basis.
  7. My setting are fine. Times are correct. I do not post using a phone. So, if the times are just a bit off, it still doesn't explain this one: The post was at one time, the "Quote" was an hour later. Yet, it was a quote. So, the time should have been the exact same. A quote is a direct copy of an original post. So, sorry, this just makes no sense.
  8. Like I was told, a minute means everything. Talking to my g/f? Um, what's that supposed to mean?
  9. The National Weater Service, sunrise times for New York State. Ever since my Journal was flogged due to a typo, I have been looking at the time other member post for being in the woods. Image 1, Sunrise for Binghamton, NY, was at 7:23 AM. So, if the time was right on the post from my first image, then that was way before sunrise for that zone. On the 3'rd image, that's HUGE! The post was made at 5:53, but for Phoenix, NY, sunrise was 7:26 AM. Then, in the "Quote", it says it was posted at 6:53. Something not right there.
  10. Just wondering. If you look at the attached pics wou will see some time discrepancies.
  11. Second time a question like this was asked. I have to agree. the DEC site has all the info. Faster and easier to look yourself, then to ask in here.
  12. I edited my nic because my g/f made a statement to me when I was trying to sell her ammo, that using cyanide in my nic, may not be a good thing. Not in a hunting site anyway. So I changed it. Anthing else you want to rip into me about Lawdwaz? This is pretty much it in a nutshell. Seeing a fawn with spots hanging in a basement when I was about 23, made me sick to my stomach. That was pretty much why I have not hunted for more years then some people in here have been alive. Like I said, this thread was not in any way judgement of anyone. It was just me venting.
  13. Can an Admin please delete this thread/topic? The items have been removed from sale here.
  14. Depends. For a site like this, SMF may be better. It's actualy more community based, and easier to code. SMF is more user friendly, but hey, I am just a member. So I don't want to step out of line. Just look up SMF.
  15. Cyalume Lights. The big ones.
  16. This is the site I use for the times in my area: http://sunrisesunset.willyweather.com/ny/schenectady-county/central-state.html I also look at The Weather Channel. I made a typo. As for the time, I really don't care what time someone in Rottenchester can go in the woods, it's not my problem. Nor is it my problem the time a hunter in the Plattsburgh area goes in the woods. I am of the full light type. I took the light that came on my Tru Glow off! If I can't see it clear, I am not shooting. Ya know what, it's fine. I get it.
  17. FFS! Sunrise today was like 7:10 or 11. I was in the woods early because of the thread I just posted. If you want to attack me, so be it.
  18. OK. I can't edit the first post, but I fixed it. I had a 5 where a 6 should have been Yes, I was still early. I hadn't walked into the spot in the dark before. So I was anxious and left my home early, and got there early. So, seeing as everyone else is so perfect, I guess a typo gets me flamed. That's OK.
  19. Today was like 7:10 or so. Yeah, I know, I sat in the dark for a long time. First time out this season I was anxious. Not like the time differs much within the state. My rise/set time for the next week only varies by like 1 minute. OK, I'll bite, why do you ask? -------------------- Edit, OMG! LOL. I mean 6:10 Sorry. I told you all in my intro I was a typo prince...
  20. Screw ins. But, you can't use them on State land in NY. So way back when I made my own rope steps.
  21. This may sound like an odd thing to carry, but Super Glue and Duct Tape. Both will help stop bleeding, and the tape could be used to secure a splint.
  22. Hmmmm...I think that means wooly is for hire....Just sayin........
  23. Holy $hit dude! Glad you weren't in it. I have a 20 MPH rule, and that's for big based no dead branches at all trees. Now, I think I might change to 10 MPH.
  24. Kind of a tricky one here. If you call, and the person gets nailed, they might just come messing with your gear/stands if you leave them out. At the same time, you don't need the headache of having this near your hunting land. I would drop the dime, then post the living crap out of the land you will be using. This is one time where if your gear gets messed with, you will have a prime suspect.
