Looking at this rifle in 7-08 for my wife. found some actual reviews, but mostly found the commercial type reviews. She shouldered one at bass pro and boy it fit her like a glove. Did not purchase because they were a little high but I found one at a good price elsewhere.most likely will be getting it for her just wanted some first hand reviews..

They do have a lot of craft stuff in there. I was just surprised on the amount of man cave decor they had. Some of it yes you could tell it was cheap china stuff, but some of the other things were not bad.

The temprature is s big factor for me, and it seems like the last several years during archery and gun for that matter it has been warm. The hide comes off right away ( so much easier before the deer has cooled ) and if it’s cooler it will hang for a day or two, if it’s warm it gets cut up right away . guess another factor for me is what day I shot the deer, and if I have time to cut it up. If it looks like I am not going to be able to get to my deer in a few days it goes to the processor, But purposely aging it. i never do ..

After reading about a bunch of guys not liking venison, thought I would ask .. So do you like it .. or not .. Myself I love it.......

Google it , but I believe the newer Polaris battery’s were bad from the get go. But I do use the trickle chargers on all 3 of my atvs and my riding mower battery. Wait for harbor freight to put there’s on sale for like 5 bucks. I have used them going in 5 or so years now and they work great.

$26 , bought the bag from amazon.. trying to decide if I want to put a wheel turn handle on it or not, it turns pretty easy the way it is .

Bought the jack from a local scrap yard for $6 got it home and I hit it with some brake clean. the base is scrap 7/8 plywood, drilled four holes in jack base to screw the wood base on with 1 inch deck screws . I cut the wood for the top just thin enough so I would have tap it in for a tight fit , I then drilled one hole on each side of jack top and used deck screws to hold that . Sprayed it with some black paint .Then added the bag, it’s from a little company in P.A. Called Protektor they make really nice leather rest bags .. Wanted to do two but they only had this one scissor jack that was decent.

Two thumbs up on the lights. Just a FYI if you want high quality tires for a good price check out the Kenda bear claws. I run them on my 2wd Suzuki and both our kodiacs . Great all around tire ..

We had a very warm archery season again and warmer temps in early gun again, so the warm temps plus the fact that alot of gun hunters hunt hard the first week then taper off I believe are the cause of lower numbers shot . This cool weather we are having now ,and the storm fronts moving in will get the deer on their feet.
