I have a 4 by 10 trailer that sits maybe 2 ft from the ground that’s fairly easy to load a deer. Or I use a hitch mounted cargo hauler, it’s way easier to load a deer just a few feet from the ground than in the back of the truck.

Welcome, lots of good guys here . What type of hunting do you do ?

Well pulled cards today on 3 cameras that have been out for 4 weeks. Tons of does and a little 3 point. Plus side is when the rut kicks in hopefully all the doe will attract some bigger bucks. Fingers crossed .. So first and foremost is getting my son his first deer, myself venison in the freezer is tops. My wife will not be hunting archery at all and gun is questionable, she still is nursing a messed up shoulder .

When I am on and in the zone very little, but tonight my son and I went to the club and shot their outdoor paper targets. Uneven ground so no optimum foot placement / stance , slightly up hill and angled targets. So it was a rough night for me, definitely had some major rust going on. I couldn’t settle in the middle and had some major float going on . One realizes quickly that shooting in the nice even yard is easy compared to actual woods shooting.

I was impressed with our 400 /450 kodiaks, heck I pulled a 2wd Tahoe out of a ditch with my 400 easily . But now that we have the 700s it’s no comparison. When my wife sits on hers and start’s it , she still smiles and says I love my new wheeler. Those can ams are no slouch, don’t forget when you get it, pictures or it didn’t happen. Fingers crossed for a moose picture . Glad you two are having a good time.

Nowadays one has pick and choose what one says to another person carefully . Because as we all know people are getting off the rails crazier. But having said that, when idiots are putting some one else’s life in danger I most certainly will speak up. You did the right thing....

Ok , according to my pinwheel app your current arrows are under spined now with a 100 grain point. So you would need to buy a 300 (stiffer) spine arrow to go up to a 125 grain head
