By Monday the daytime temps will drop 30 degrees. Better hunting next week. Now is a good time to catch up on that to do list!
-
Great looking bike!!! Been a long time since I sold my last one. I'm retiring next year too. Perhaps I'll get back in the saddle again???
-
My guess would be, you have brakes not releasing all the way, and dragging slightly on the rotor or drum?
-
You had a great hunt Eddie! Just being out there with your son was worth the drive. I agree, this week probably won't be best for deer hunting. But it's still early. You'll have better opportunities once it cools down a bit. Wishing you a fun, and successful season sir.

You're nothing more than POS jizz jerker, and a keyboard Poser, that is likely a very poor hunter. You have to come on a forum to boast about how good you are??? How many forum members can vouch to hunting with you??? NONE! Because you do little of it, and it would expose you for what you are. You just do what the controlling partners of the deer farm tell you to do. You're just a "hand"dy man there in truth. The only one who keeps stirring the shit pot here is YOU mayor. In all the years I've been a member here, I always knew you for what you REALLY are. A sad little man, that needs to build himself up with a keyboard. While putting down others to feel good about yourself. Some things never change. If you just went away from here, no one would miss you. I can guarantee you that!!

That's a real nice crossbow! Good luck this season!

The crank really does make it much easier. Is yours one of the new silent ones? Or is it like the one I have that clicks?

What happen to the guy who made wood sculptures ?
grampy replied to phantom's topic in General Chit Chat
wooly went through some life changing events. Does not have good internet connection where he is now. So does not post to this, or any other forum that I am aware of. Sure do miss him. I will always call him my friend. -
He's just buttering you up!!! And trying to get on your good side! Smart deer!
-
Great advice as always Al.

Nice crossbow. But it is not legal in NY. Needs to be a minimum of 17 inches across limbs.

Great thread my friend!!! I didn't see it before today. Hope you are doing well!!

First time hearing about this too. The purple paint will help with the ya-hoo's ripping down the signs we tack up. But outside of us actually standing there. The scumbags will continue to trespass.

An absolutely awesome package deal, at a steal of a price, for some lucky buyer!!!

I hope Mom is doing better each day And her recovery will be as quick and painless as possible, for injuries like hers. Prayers sent.

Squirrel Season Just Around The Corner.
grampy replied to airedale's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Squirrel hunting is one of the most fun things to do after September 1st. To the start of bow season a month later!! And after the hunt the Squirrel Stew is always a hearty, tasty dinner to look forward to as well. -
Full inclusion of crossbow during bow season if 60 or older.
grampy replied to First-light's topic in CrossBow Hunting
I hope that this will open the door for full inclusion, to all who choose to use crossbow in archery season. -
All my small motors, boat, ATV, run ethanol free gas. Yes, it does cost a bit more. But in the long run, saves much more in repairs from running the ethanol, that clogs carbs and makes rubber lines brittle. EF is running about $5.10 a gallon here at this time.

Wow, this forum provider REALLY doesn't want people to use it, does it?
grampy replied to cas's topic in General Chit Chat
So sick of his BS for years! Time for him to come out from behind his keyboard, and show us how well he does in the woods against an old man. Many on this forum are better than me. I'm nothing special. But I know a BS poser when I see one! And I know when it comes to the REAL outdoors, I'll make him look stupid. C'mon Mayor! Seasons open in a couple of weeks. Let's get out there! Go big or go home poser! I'm ready to expose you once and for all. I listed a whole bunch of things. Pick what suits ya, and show me what you can do. -

C'mon poser, prove you're not just a lame ass jizz jerker. BS artist! Who knows if the pictures of game you posted are even yours Mayor?? Only one way to settle this. Me and you on equal ground. Put up or shut up!! I'm ready! Anytime. Anyplace! I can't wait to show everyone how "good" you really are! Bragging, is one thing. Doing, is entirely real. How real are you Mayor? Let's find out! -
For blood tracking training, at first drag a piece of liver through the woods for a couple hundred yards. Make some sharp turns too. Leave a nice piece at the end for a reward. As your dog progresses, make the line longer and harder. Then intermittently pick up the liver for a ways and set it back down. Also use deer hides and deer legs for the drag. My mentor John Jeanneney, a founding member of Deersearch, wrote a great book that may help you train for blood tracking. It's called "Tracking Dogs" For Finding Wounded Deer. Amazon has it. If I can help you in any way, or answer a question you may have. I'd be happy to do so.
