  1. Here ya go,Happy Birthday........................see ya.......................lol........
  2. Not hunting Montana this year. But hunting whitetails in the milk river area is on my bucket list! Good luck on your hunt this year!
  3. That's pretty cool! And functional too! Lot of work done to make that fence,I'm sure.
  4. On high pressure land, that's what you get when you set up 50 yards from a road! Get yourself off the beaten path into a more inaccessible spot of the area. And you will see less of other hunters and most likely, more deer. After 14 years of the same crap,I would change the way I did things. Not hope other hunters would do things differently. I am in no way sticking up for those dinks that keep messing up his hunts. I would have called DEC the first time horn blower pulled that crap. Not keep going through the same thing year after year. We as hunters have no control over what other hunters do,on pressured land.So if something is not working out for you,it's up to YOU to make the change in how to have a better hunting experience.
  5. I never believed in telling someone else what to do on their property, unless I was asked for an opinion. As long as it's done within the law,if you choose to shoot every doe you see,so be it. It's your land! You,more than anyone else, knows how many deer are there. And if they are doing damage,as it seems they are from your photo, keep shooting them. And don't worry about what the neighbor says!
  6. Seems like this is a first class bow! Let us know more after you get it home and sighted in. Congrats on your NBD! (new bow day)
  7. Nice set up! That thing is a beast!
  8. x-2 on the trigger stick. I hunt 90% from the ground now.Have been using the Primo's bi-pod trigger stick for a couple years and it works great. Even if the ground is not level, easy up and down, swivel, and quiet adjustments. I use the shorter version as I'm mostly in ground blinds, and I tend to stay low to the ground when still hunting or a spot and stalk. I like it enough that I'm ordering the tri-pod version for the upcoming season. Only down side is getting used to carrying it if you like to have your gun in your hands at all times when walking.
  9. It's almost like we have more rocks than dirt on our property!
  10. Great job! She will only get better from now on! Love seeing them when they finally "get it",and they are so proud of themselves!
  11. I do it just because I do. It's a part of what makes me,me.
  12. [quodefinitely"MACHINIST" post=375568" timestamp="1428865243] Yes it works,I am not sure if deer smell it but I used it all last deer season and still had deer around me.The way I look at it if they can smell that they will smell you so it wont matter,I'd rather be tick free I'm definitely going to give it a try! Can you buy it in a store like tractor supply? Or have to order online? Had a half dozen on me today alone. Nasty things are already bad this year! Thanks for the info.
  13. Getting the nasty things on me most every time I go out in the woods lately. Does that permathrin stuff really work? Can deer smell it?
  14. If you think Obama is bad, we have not begun to see the worst yet. Because Hill will be Hell!
  15. Around here, they seem to get hit with lightning or something.......alot.
  16. So,not the only one in your area that likes to "growalot".
  17. Sometimes the ones who cry the loudest against bows and crossbows, are the ones who don't use them.
