My father bought me this when he was on a moose hunt in newfoundland 5 years ago. It's gutted and skinned about 10 deer so far. Stays incredibly sharp.

Got out for a quick sit between getting the kids on the bus and heading to work. Just had a flock of turkeys go by, I counted 36. Spring turkey seems promising.

Forgot my brother also gave me a big chunk of summer sausage made from his deer he got opening day. Thanks again guys and gals.

My wife got me some nice new clothes and a new cuddeback. My 7 year old son went to my buddy that works at dicks and asked for deer pee for me. So I got doe in heat antler ice from him, and my 5 year old daughter "got" me the new archery target due to my other block style target falling apart. My brother got me a sixer of genesee north german style pilsner, and a Bluetooth speaker for my phone, and his wife made me a delicious blueberry pie. Very happy birthday today.

Great so far, my wife brought home pizza from Carbones in alden. My favorite pizza place, I also have a birthday beer with it. U snooty beer snobs won't like it but a fine 12oz can of bush light in the orange hunting can obviously!

Thank u, no red osier for me today. Just dinner around the table with the wife and kids. Usually the wife and I have a "date nite" to the red osier after the holidays. I'll post pics of any hunting items I get. Thanks again.

I spent a month in the bush of Australia with the Marines, we were warned of the obvious things like snakes and dpiders, but also not to get close to kangaroos. They csn be pretty aggressive I guess. -
My brother has hunted with a marlin in .444, deer always died but he was not getting good expansion from the bullets. .444 hole on one side .444 hole on the other. He was using Hornady Leverlution ammo in it.

I broadcasted some corn a buddy gave me. U just need to till the soil up good then spread seed and then drive over it with a quad or tractor to get the seed down.

For hinge cutting u don't want to cut anything bigger than ur thigh is what I have read. I did a bunch last February next to my food plot and it gets used, especially since more under growth is coming in. I'll probably do a little more around there also.

I have plans of opening up about a acre of woods. I'll be planting fruit and nut trees along with clover there. I'll shed hunt, coyote hunt. Bring my kids out squirrel hunting.

Well after seeing 4 doe this morning I'm hoping a buck makes a appearance tonite.

Just had another doe come by. Very tempting but waiting for a big guy.

Turkeys clucking and gobbling about 75 yards away, and just had a doe walk by 30 yards away.
