    Would you call DEC if you knew that this guys corn had NO effect on your hunting? If yes, then you are calling because law is law. If no, then you are doing it because his behavior may hurt your chances at a deer. Call it in or not, its up to you... but just be clear on your motivation.

    Got it done today in 8H after a slower than normal season. He came right toward my treestand from upwind. Turned sharply at 15 yards and gave me a perfect quartering away shot. Double lung with a rage... he ran about 75 yards and I watched him drop.

    Hunted this morning in 8H... much slower than I expected with the nice temp drop. I missed this big fella by a few hours. Good to know theres at least one nice buck around.

    Found picture of my first deer. Button buck with a muzzleloader... 2 decades ago.

    I like hunting up close and personal - tree stand with the bow... so I stick with that all season. (I will pull out the crossbow late in the season when it’s frigid and the deer are starting to herd up)

    2013 my first archery deer was a buck... and that’s what started my addiction. Iv gun hunted less each year.

    Thats strange... at least in my experience, deer and fox are fairly non-confrontational. I'v seen some fawns (probably button bucks) harassing foxes, but never the other way around.

    I see fox every time I hunt. They are actually pretty entertaining to watch and never seem to notice me in the tree stand. Deer are not affected by their presence, although they can be frustrating when I check the trail cams and have 100's of fox pics.

    A bullhead/smallmouth/carp should fight pretty good... but how does it taste??

    Joking. But I think Id rather deal with a small bear than a large buck who decides hes sick of being taunted and photographed.
