  1. (2 lions vs a dozen hyenas) x 4 = lions win!
  2. Or just a few of these signs
  3. Mmmm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Damn it TF. Im at work and Im getting thirsty!!
  5. BIZ! You were able to look past that big rack and notice the background. What a gentleman!
  6. I have a WR Invader G3 and its been phenomenal. They are a bit above the OP budget, but I know they came out with an updated model, so there may be a deal to be had on the G3s. If the Warrior is anything like mine... can;t go wrong.
  7. Found some venison from last year in the freezer = ghost pepper/garlic jerky! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 45. Especially in NY and we are talking about black bears. Although 9mm isnt as useless as some are saying. Again, brown bear would be a different story.
  9. Thanks... I’ll take a look, but I’ll plan on doing some research and shopping soon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I found one in a hollow tree while hunting, and another in a tree while ice fishing on Irondequoit Bay... (Im assuming it was meant to be found via boat, since it would be inaccessible without ice)
  11. I have a Moultrie m-990i which has been my favorite camera for the past 3 years. Battery life has never been an issue until this season. It takes 8 AAs and I used to get a full season (thousands of pictures, and video as well) out of one set of batteries. Lately, the batteries have been dying after only a few pictures. I use energizer lithium, and after each failure, I test the batteries. (Typically one or two of the 8 will be fully drained) Any thoughts on this? What is the expected life of a mid/high range cam like this one?
  12. Not a trail cam pic... but back in the days before I bow-hunted, muzzleloader was the only way I could take a doe. Never weighed her but she was probably my biggest. I was 5’10” 190lbs for comparison. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hunted less than normal. Saw fewer deer than normal. Got hours of entertainment from this forum. Didn't hunt with a gun at all. Took 3 deer via broad head and the freezers are full. Time to hibernate!
  14. Someone’s gotta snag a last minute deer tonight... good luck everyone!!
  15. If a corned venison sandwich doesn’t bring some luck before the last sit of the season... I don’t know what does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I put in 400 square feet of tile in our kitchen and dining room this year. The whole project took 8 weekends... all I want to do is WALK on it, not clean.
  17. Moog... let me know when you see a piece of "ideal" property like that for sale around Rochester. Hell, I'll settle for sub-par property.
  18. Same here... who was I to say No. I guess that beats having to help with cleaning.
  19. Wife and baby were sick this weekend, so I didn’t get out at all. Taking Tuesday off, hopefully I’ll put one more in the freezer.
  20. If you're in the woods and see a guy with sagging pants and a dead deer, dont worry, Its just Polar.
  21. If you've ever pulled over to cut the antlers off a cardboard box that you thought was a buck...
  22. I now live in the suburbs and work at a hospital, but Iv eaten enough squirrel and roadkill deer to be a redneck for life. (Iv never eaten roadkill squirrel... you need to draw the line somewhere.)
  23. You say Redneck like its a bad thing
