What region did you plant in? In areas where its been unusually dry, like northern Niagara county, the two extra weeks might not make a big difference as far as when the plants mature. Now that is just a semi-educated guess, but certainly a factor to consider.

If you are looking for a long-time classic restaurant that is not flashy but has solid food, I recommend the Antlers on Dryden Rd (older, local crowd). If you have time for brunch or lunch, MIX Kitchen and Bar on Elmira Rd. has an amazingly tasty and creative menu. If you are eating with guys with big appetites, Ithaca Gateway BBQ Kitchen on State St. has huge portions and very good food.

with side shields / side protection?

I want to get some prescription safety glasses that give side protection. Wrap around shooting style glasses would be nice, but I would take regular glasses with with side shields. I've been looking online, and have not been able to find much in my size. I never knew my head was considered XL, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Anyone have any suggestions online or in western NY for a place I could try? Only place I can think of is Dival in Buffalo or go to a gun store and ask there.

I had lunch with a guy I know yesterday, and he was telling me about Deerassic Park in Cambridge, OH and the Giveaway & Outdoor Expo they do in August. It is sponsored by the National Whitetail Deer Education Foundation. It sounds like a Woodstock for hunters where they have a lot of big dollar raffles. I can't quite wrap my head around it; never heard of it or the foundation before. Anyone heard of it, or gone to one? If you're interested, the website is http://www.deerassicclassic.com .
