  1. Need a Western Auto yardstick for the win!
  2. What a coincidence, so do I! My first job was at Star Market at Stoneridge Plaza in Greece.
  3. 13 inches so far on my vintage Chase-Pitkin yardstick.
  4. 4, maybe 5 inches here near Savona so far. This is my first snowstorm since I retired. I used to drive 86 miles one way to work. Not missing that at all. Wife is working from home this week, so I’ll get after the driveway tomorrow when I feel like it and keep the cozy home fires burning.
  5. Following intently! Good luck and keep us posted Moog.
  6. Unfortunately the court of public opinion doesn’t recognize that.
  7. Got one nice survivor who appears to be the same one that tending that doe in December. And WTF is that one doe doing, gymnastics? The yotes checking that spot out was just this morning. Think I’ll go back tomorrow morning to see what was getting their interest. We gutted a deer around that spot in November, but it can’t still be that?
  8. @Robhuntandfishrecently bought one that I think he is happy with.
  9. Congratulations on the house!
  10. I sprung for one similar to this about 20 yrs ago. Makes short work of dull chains.
  11. So it’s more that they shouldn’t be there because they don’t do it the way you would? So bad Turkey hunters begone?
  12. Did you mean for this to come off this way? Sounds pretty arrogant.
  13. Good luck using a drone to find deer. I have one and it's pretty quiet for a drone. But it does sound like a swarm of bees, even at 400 ft. It spooks deer unless you are at 300-400 ft (400 ft is max legal altitude), and from that distance you can't even see deer. Not even a dot on the phone screen. Zoom functions are digital, not optical, so the slightest zoom level pixelates. Once in a great while in the offseason I can get 200 ft above a deer but I've had the drone for a year and have only done it twice. And they still bolt if I linger. When I do get video of deer, I only see them when I transfer the video to my desktop 25-inch monitor. I've posted some here, but those are edited, zoomed, and enhanced, and trimmed. Nothing you'd do in real time. To me, this is just like a non-cell cam. Get the footage, transfer it, and work with it or at least view it on a computer later. In my opinion, it's not a feasible hunting aid in the least. I've given no thought to using it for that.
