    Filled the Tundra tank yesterday. Pump shut off at $100.00 and the needle didn’t even reach full. Didn’t feel like redoing the transaction to fill it all the way. It was $3.65 per gallon. I drove by the same station an hour later and they were changing the signs to $3.69. Aren’t times grand now?

    I agree 100% with this post. And I think the Republican party is burning time by not having the next republican candidate front and center, gaining valuable image and credibility time and building recognition. Trump is adding to this by freezing the field with his little ego-stroking teases. Disantis/Haley in 2024!

    Crap, I'm down to 1/8 tank. It's a 36 gallon tank. At 17 mpg in my Tundra I'm going to have to start drafting people to improve my mileage.

    It should be a perfect time for early sap. I was thinking of putting a few taps out but with the snow we have on the ground, I can’t get the quad in the woods yet. Got it buried at the last snowfall, this recent storm is going to take a while.

    Lawsuits are civil court, not criminal court though, right? With different standards? I’m certainly not a legal expert by any stretch but I read of people winning ridiculous lawsuits. I’d imagine the real financial jeopardy is the cost of defending yourself. And then there’s the gall of having to defend yourself against a POS that stole from you.

    I named my first boat “Yankee Rose” and kept that name for every boat afterwards. I think my current one is the fourth with that name. Something about bad luck.. if you follow up with the ceremony listed below, I’ll bring beer to sacrifice!

    I honestly don't think I've ever seen a fox squirrel in the woods. I've gotten some quick looks over the years at what I thought were really big grays. We have a giant gray that makes an occasional appearance around the bird feeders this year, almost 2X bigger than the other gray and black squirrels. I'll have to see if I can get a good pic of him and a regular size one together.

    Legalities of placing booby traps on public (or private) land aside, if bodily injury is incurred, I would think you’d open yourself up to a lawsuit.

There's a whole section for political threads and you'll probably get good response activity there. Feel free to chime in on a posting or start your own thread. But please let's not clutter this one and get it shut down like the daily chuckle thread.
