One suggestion I would have is do not travel to Erie County. For whatever reason their cases are increasing by over 100 per day. They are likely going to be one of the hot spots in the state. They went to over 1100 cases yesterday. -
I will do that..... I figured I would do it all through pm to keep the traffic down.

Al I have a early model s&w model 60 in .38 special I would part with if it is something you might be interested in. I bought it for the wife but she won't carry so it just sits on the shelf.

Fines for breaking social-distancing measures in the state of New York will be raised from $500 to $1,000, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday. Cuomo lamented that some are showing a lack of regard for social distancing and stressed the importance of the measures in curbing the spread of the disease. https://www.businessinsider.com/new-york-raises-fine-for-social-distancing-rule-breakers-1000-2020-4 -

I have four longboards strutting in the field behind the house this morning.

The key word is "campfire" The only reason I brought it up is because I had a friend that was doing the same thing and someone blew him in. A sheriff (not DEC) showed up, issued a ticket and he paid a pretty good fine. The cop said open brush burning didn't meet the definition of "campfire" and the judge agreed. I could care less...just trying to give you a heads up just in case. Some people see smoke and jump right on the phone. Wouldn't want to see anyone get a unwanted visit for something so innocent.

A lot of the states do it and get away with it. There must be a clause somewhere. Just like Marijuana. At the federal level it is still considered illegal but many states have made it legal. Besides Cuomo has always done what he wants to...like it or not.

Nice to see you getting out and accomplishing some things but you might want to think about advertising as much:

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Has Not Yet Accepted Remington's Offer to Help With PPE, Ventilators...Two weeks ago Gun manufacturer Remington recently offered the state of New York use of their facilities to help with crucially needed medical supplies for healthcare workers on the frontlines battling the Wuhan coronavirus. The state government has yet to accept Remington's offer. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=281148519579006

That will be the same for a lot of people. Some will be doubling their current income and with the ability to collect for over 9 months I can't help but wonder what will be the incentive to go back to work. -

I apologize for not being in the "know" like the rest of you. I did not realize a completely healthy person could pass it to another. As far as where I've been...I have been here at home in the country where I should be. I'm sure as hell not at Lowes in one of the most infected counties in the state buying fertilizer for my lawn or some other foolish thing I don't absolutely need. -

Learned something tonight that I did not know that makes some sense out of the staying home social distancing criteria. One could be exposed to the virus, be immune to it, become a carrier, and would be able to pass it on to others even though they never get sick or show any symptoms. When you think about it that is pretty scary. Anyone of us could be unknowingly passing it on to others. Without the testing of each and every person how will they ever be able to contain the spread or be able to slow it down. I guess if we don't stay home any one of us could be unknowingly contributing to the spread of this virus. -

With only 3500 cases compared to NY states 83,000 plus Russia seems to have a plan. Russia confirmed 771 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, bringing the country’s official number of cases up to 3,548 and marking a record one-day increase in infections. President Vladimir Putin announced an extension of the nationwide “non-working week” until April 30 after the country registered a sharp increase in coronavirus cases on Thursday. Speaking in a televised address, he added that he would delegate the decision making power on anti-coronavirus measures to regional authorities given the regional differences in infection rates. Putin has signed legislation imposing severe punishment — including up to five years in prison — for people convicted of spreading false information about the coronavirus. The legislation also imposes punishments for people breaking coronavirus quarantine rules, including up to seven years in prison. — Sobyanin signed a law imposing fines on Muscovites found to be violating the city's self-isolation orders. Individuals will be fined up to 4,000 rubles ($50) for first-time offenses and up to 5,000 rubles ($63) for repeat offenses. Businesses will be fined up to 40,000 rubles ($500) for violating the order. Legal entities will be fined up to 300,000 rubles ($3,800) for first-time offenses and up to 500,000 rubles ($6,300) for repeat offenses.
