  1. So the tree stand in the background near the pine in the second picture is for taking pictures I take it.
  2. Sometimes all you have to do is a complete restart (reboot) from scratch which may include removing the batteries and starting over. The best collars are Garmin or Tri-tronics and like Airedale says the go to for collar repairs is "the collar clinic". They also have a trade-in policy where you can trade a old or defective one in on a new unit but they don't give much on a trade in.
  3. Might want to try to hook up with fellow member Grizz1219. He seems to be doing a good job with his young dog(s). He may be able to give some tips or help you out. https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/66346-my-little-rock-star/
  4. I give him credit on this one: 'Just One Little Gesture.' Retired Kansas Farmer Sends N-95 Mask to New York Gov. Cuomo https://time.com/5827388/kansas-farmer-cuomo-n95-mask/
  5. Got a message from my bank today: Lobby Services** Monday - Friday By Appointment only Saturday & Sunday-All locations closed A mask is required for all Lobby Appointments. You must be wearing a mask to be allowed entry . If you do not have a mask, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. My How times change
  6. I understand that...I was referring to "most" bird hunting....and besides I am not a "diehard" shotgunner.
  7. Most diehard shotgunners will tell you "you point a shotgun and aim with a rifle". That is true in a lot of scenarios
  8. I like the tru glow sights also but only use the back one for turkey when I hunt them. They just snap on or off the vent rib pretty easy and are reasonably priced. Most times I don't use them because I forget to put them on and just use the front bead. The one shown are not adjustable https://www.opticsplanet.com/truglo-magnum-gobble-dot-turkey-hunting-sights.html
  9. You probably aren't doing anything wrong it could be the gun. When I shoot a shotgun (which hasn't been much lately) I just look straight down the barrel and use the front bead. I actually took the center bead off my vented rib barrel because I found it distracting.. I have seen them shoot a little left or right and occasionally high but never low at 25 yds. like your target shows.
  10. I have never seen one pattern like that...especially at 25 yds. Maybe have someone else shoot the gun to see if they have the same results. If so I would say something is wrong with the gun.
  11. Might want to check those numbers. There are over 300 under 40 yrs old here in NY https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/views/NYS-COVID19-Tracker/NYSDOHCOVID-19Tracker-Fatalities?%3Aembed=yes&%3Atoolbar=no&%3Atabs=n My condolences ATbuckhunter
  12. It's been in the works for over a year but with only four sponsors it will probably go nowhere, but at least someone is thinking about it: senate Bill S5416 2019-2020 Legislative Session Proposes a constitutional amendment to divide the state into three autonomous regions https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2019/s5416
  13. Excuse me for not knowing the ways of the city but you have to pay to park your train in addition to riding it????
  14. Sorry if this sounds morbid because that is not the intent. Doctors are making some tough decisions on a daily basis and one thing being recommended is to have you and or your loved one(s) affairs in order to make some of their decisions less difficult. A living will is recommend and the very least they would like to see is one of these called a "most" form; completed to be used if needed. Hopefully none of us will never need it but it never hurts to be prepared. I have included a link for downloading in pdf format. And of course New York Calls it something else and have attached that link as well... but am sure either one would be acceptable over nothing: https://www.ncmedsoc.org/non_members/public_resources/MOSTform_sample.pdf NY Form Link:https://www.health.ny.gov/forms/doh-5003.pdf
  15. Rule here is not before May 1st or after October 15th. I don't care what the grass does. Landscapers mowed a couple of lawns on the road Tuesday and now they are full of ruts.
  16. I have the Lee Progressive 1000 and like it for the same reasons but gave up on trying to use their primer feed set up. It is to unreliable for me and I ended up buying a hand primer, do not use the powder measure, and also measure every powder load on a scale I like the versatility of them and the ability to change calibers fairly quickly but find you have to pretty much babysit every round as it goes around the press. I am sure there are probably better progressives out there but for the money the Lee is good enough for my needs. Hope to invest in a electronic powder dispenser in the future to speed things up but for now I will get by with what I have because I never want to rush or be in a hurry when I do reload.
