NJ cops don't understand the states gun laws at all. They're attitude is, "Arrest and charge and let the poor sucker's lawyer figure it out." Too bad when the guy sues, that taxpayers have to pony up the penalty for the state.

What do people think is going to happen? They think the government is not going to care about protecting them if the whole system collapses and it will be on them to protect themselves. They're right. Too bad it took them so long to realize it.

There are many practical reason for having plenty of ammo. First, the government can shut down your ability to buy ammo at any time. Unless you have plenty in stock, you are out of the fight. Second, the price of ammo could increase tremendously in a SHTF situation. Third, if there is a total economic collapse, your dollars will be worthless and they won't buy more ammo. I saw a very prophetic bumper sticker a while back that said, "Ammo, the currency of the 21st Century!" It will turn out to be very true if the collapse comes. Everything will be on the barter system and ammo will be worth more than gold. Fourth, your tactical and shooting skills will not be as important as your understanding of the apocalyptic situation and how to survive it. Yes you will need to shoot well if you are forced to do so, but avoiding a fight will be more important. You do not want to find yourself in a tactical situation at all. It won't be about fighting as much as it will be about surviving. Lastly, your priorities should be knowing what the situation is and how to survive it, practicing your shooting skills for practical purposes and having enough ammo to survive a prolonged survival situation, even if it's used to get necessities like food, water or shelter. Even the most skilled tactical or military operator can be taken out by one well placed shot from a scoped bolt action deer rifle 100 yards away, when they don't see it coming. During WWII we gave the French resistance "Liberator" pistols, cheap single shot .45 ACP stamped metal arms (A gun to get a gun) for them to shoot Nazi's and take their better guns. They worked well. Anyone who thinks the apocalypse will be a run and gun shooting war, needs to study how these things have played out throughout history. It's all about survival, not shooting, and ammo will be a valuable commodity to have.

I'm sure there are those who will pretend otherwise, but there's little question that for anyone watching last night's Democrat presidential debate between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders with an open but discerning mind, there was but one conclusion to be drawn: the thought of either one of these two men in the White House is beyond foolish.

I've had to kill a few dozen of them in the middle of the night when one decides it wants to gnaw on the siding of my house. Every one I ever killed was eaten by something within two nights, leaving only some quills on the ground where it laid. The belly is the spot without quills that can be opened to get to the meat. A farmer friend once spent a hot summer's day replacing every rubber hose and belt on his old tractor, only to have the porkies chew it all to heel over night. They go for the salt in the sweat left on stuff. They can be dispatched with a large rock because they're so slow. Great for survival food if you ever find yourself starving in the woods without any type of weapon to hunt with.

Trump is not stacking the court. He's installing justices that follow the rule of law and issue rulings based on the original intent of the founders when they wrote the Constitution. He wants activist judges to stop "interpreting" the Constitution in ways that turn the Rule of Law into the Rule of Men. Activist rulings have created many problems in this land since it started happening. Legal abortion is just one of them. The SCOTUS avoided a major question in Roe V. Wade, that being, "When does Life begin?" Once that question is answered, abortion law will need to fall in line right behind it. The current case only deals with abortion providers having admitting privileges at a nearby hospital if it is needed. Most of them don't have it. The law in question requires it. It won't stop abortions, but it puts some "common sense" legislation into the situation. Trump is accomplishing many good things as POTUS and will be re-elected by a wide margin. Leftists hate him because he's putting and end to their lies and propaganda campaign with results. Schumer is a leftist leader that is only concerned about getting re-elected and retaining the power to control the leftist narrative.

People thought the same thing about the SAFE Act when it was first proposed. Then they thought they would get to discuss it prior to a legislative vote. Nothing is beyond possibility in this tyrannical state.

Still one has to be concerned any elected official would even propose such a bill. Knowing no ammo maker would comply with such a law, this would eliminate all ammo for all guns affected by this law, virtually eliminating all legal use of those firearms in NY state. You have to wonder if these proposals are designed to normalize crazy gun laws so they become more acceptable to the masses. This isn't a micro-stamping law which has been around. This is serialized ammo that is registered to the buyer. I've never seen such an extreme proposal before Obviously no one would, but it would be illegal to have any that didn't have it. Should I sign out because I'm at the 5 sentence limit now?

And add a new tax of .005 cents PER ROUND to pay for it too. Anyone think that will be a permanent price?

If your party is willing to kill babies and intimidate Supreme Court Justices with threats if they don't let you kill babies, it isn't hard to imagine they fantasize about killing political opponents. Actually, many leftist Democrats have already said they want to.

I was about 9 when I once told my businessman father that JFK was a good president. His reaction was bewilderment and he asked who told me that? I informed him my school teacher did. I was quickly re-educated about the facts of liberal politics and it's danger to prosperity, freedom and liberty. I began to observe politics more closely at that point, assuming my Dad was mistaken. He wasn't.

People sign petitions all the time but they only work if the legislators fear your vote. The time to stop these things has passed. With an leftist in the State House, supported by a rubber stamp legislature, there is no stopping anything they want to ram through. Elections are our only hope for the future.
