This is just something I want to ask you all, I used to try and hunt as much as possible after work, before work and weekends. Now I have two amazing children and hunting has been cut in half so I try to get out as much as I can but kids and household projects are part of my time. During my weekend hunts I wash with scent products and cloths are packed in a scent bag and am very careful when I enter the woods. Now after work i ovious dont get a chance to shower with scent free soap but do keep my cloths in the scent bag. I was reading somewhere (not here) that I could spoil my chances at taking a deer by entering the woods so the deer can smell me. I think these scent products has everyone thinking more than hunting. I do try and play the wind game but isnt all about just being n the woods, thats why I love to hunt like it was in the 80's before all these scent products came out. What do you guys sometimes over analyze things instead of just enjoying the time in the woods, I know I do from time to time. Those are my thoughts thanks for reading (Go Bills).

I shot mine today for the first time this year. 6 shots good grouping but sore forearm only after 6 shots.

Take a sample of your soil to your local nursery and have them check the ph level, you may need to add lime or some sort of herbicide to it before laying that down. Personally I would Sod it and call Oasis Irrigation of WNY for a automatic underground lawn sprinkler system (716-684-0518). It will be set on a timer, have a rain sensor and all you have to do is cut it and fertilize it. I own the company you can get the ny hunting forum discount from me. Good luck to ya.

I always thought catching a trout on a fly I tied was a great feeling, I cant imagine how I would feel if I took a bird on a call I made. Great job, now I need a lathe so i can make a pot call.

Thanks man its not bear creek and I looked up the dec site before, but I just dont know the name. It might be bear creek, but I thought there was something in Olean itself. A long time ago back in the 70's it used to be called ski wing.

After 30 looks nobody knows, ok I think its Allegany state forest but the dec website says town of Machias

There is a place called Creekwood Archery in Brockport N.Y that has a range I think. Look them up there about the closest to Greece and can help ya out I'm sure, good luck.

Bubba Your taking it the wrong way, Im not reaching out to your friends per say cause I dont know them. What I mean is the guys who wear those leather vest with no shirt under drinking long neck Buds at a bar then hopping on there sportster and flying away redlineing it between gears at 3am. The guy who you know well but when he is on his bike and with his biker buddies wont even say whats up cause he is a tough guy that day. Sorry if I offended anyone butjust my 2cents.

I rode one of those spyders before and it was o.k. I wanted to lean in every corner like you do on a bike when you dont have to on a spyder. I used to ride I had a yamaha vmax and it was fun till an 75 year old lady cut me off and scared the hell out of me. I just cant enjoy it when Im more worried about other drivers than enjoying the surroundings. I also think loud pipe dirt bag Harley biker wanna bee's should be banned. They stroll through town and goose the throttle at every stop light thinking there cool cause they have loud pipes. Should be a noise restriction like there is on snowmobiles.

Mine was giving to me by my kids cause I put in irrigation systems on alot of residential, commercial, and golf properties with new lawns put in. Dont ask me why they gave it to me kids say the strangest things. Its my name on alot of other forums to.

I have never seen one that long before only ones that you mentioned short and stubby. I think I would pass and let that girl go bye or maybee work for me.

Your right about that you can have a great spot picked out and your morning could be ruined by another hunter beating you there or another hunter heading that way spooking everything.
