I never think of resale value some do. I had my Z7 for 6 years and still have. I would never sell any of my guns it's just another weapon to own. The bow tech's were known for the split limb issue for sure. I believe all these manufacturers are at the top of there game. Not sure on the other's but Mathews has a lifetime warranty.

Elite make a great bow when I bought my Halon last year I shot every bow my dealer had. I just didn't like there grip and a little vibration on the release. But definitely a silky smooth draw. Just felt the Halon was the only bow I wanted to keep on shooting.
  4. Chas0218 is correct I'm no farmer but have been dealing with cattail sin Clarence for years mowing them down. I wanted to spray pesticides on it but DEC said no no.
  5. In my opinion it's a pain in the a** . I had a 17ft boat all decked out in full camouflage and blind. I always struggled with keeping the boat still and playing the current and playing the wind. Then when we did shoot birds, had to pull the anchor drop the blind and retrieved down birds. It sucked, now I'm sure there are easier ways but I got frustrated. In my opinion you need a 18 to 20ft boat as a tender and a layout boat with 2 gunners.
  6. I've always had a tough time with scanning and holding the controller and gun at same time. I bought a red scan light that mounts on top my scope with a pressure switch mounted on the gun. Now I can scan with my gun. The sets are shorter cause I get tired after 20min of holding gun up to scan. Having another guy is huge help
  7. I agree I've read 3 of Andrews books and are great. He actually debunks the theory on full moons being best time. That's just a myth. But I haven't myself notice any more luck on full moon nights
  8. I run about 2 dozen blue bills on 2 separate lines with a couple lines of red heads and couple lines of canvas backs when and if there in area. The Golden eyes and buffleheads I drop loosely in groups. I leave space in between the lines for the birds to skirt. But I'm learning as I go also diver ducks decoy rig is nothing like setting up for dabbling birds.
