Correction: There are a couple of 700 models (i.e. CDL DM) with the drop box magazine but the bulk of them have the floor plate.
-
The BDL is the only one. I think it might also been discontinued but I'm not sure if it has been discontinued. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

URGENT!!!!!! I NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE. BUCK Stuck with ARROW!
Elmo replied to cd32505n's topic in General Chit Chat
Hunters use the same arrows to practice with that they would use to hunt with. All they do is change the tip of the arrow when they hunt. Maybe it's one of those kids nerf arrows with the suction cup in the front and it's just stuck to the deer? -
There are some bench warriors out there. I'm not saying any of you are but there are some people that shoot great off of a bench and are all over the place when out in the woods because they've never practiced shooting without a rest or shooting while standing. The ranges I go to won't allow me to stand and shoot. For practice, I sit as the range rules states but I'll keep my elbows off the bench and shoot while holding the rifle as much as I can. Of course when sighting in or confirming my zeros I use a bench/rest etc.

Great job. Totally looks like Mickey. Better than anything I can do.

100 years from now, we're going to have hunters who use magnetically charged rail guns with great pride and constantly complain about the new generation who use photon phasers as being non-traditional.

It's called trying to make the poor guy feel better but I guess he doesn't deserve to feel better because he used technology?
-
That sucks. Totally foul. Stole your gear, your spot, and your deer. I agree, whoever did this deserves a beat down.

Detroit did file for bankruptcy but one casino isn't going to save an entire city that completely depended on the US auto industry. When the casino showed up crime didn't automatically jump up. Like Belo said, its not the 1920's and there wasn't a bunch of shoot outs outside of the casino. As a matter of fact, downtown Detroit by the casino is probably the only place left standing in that city. They recently built a slot machine casino in Yonkers here in NYS. It's been doing very well. No increase in crime. Jobs were created. People seem happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think you misunderstood me. My back tags are displayed all the time. It's just that it's attached to the outside of my pack rather then the back of my jacket.

From the Louisiana Swamps to the Concrete Jungle. HELP!
Elmo replied to bnola's topic in Bow Hunting
http://www.register-ed.com/programs/new_york/125 There's 2 in Brooklyn at the end of November. Bow season in Long Island and Westchester goes all the way to December 31st. It'll also allow you to hunt the muzzleloader season which you can use a bow. I don't think it's a good idea to post your intentions of conducting illegal activities on this forum as DEC officers can and do check this forum. -
I always carry my pack whenever I hunt so I leave my tag on my pack. While my jackets have ready-made holes to hang your tag, it makes little sense to put it on my jacket is I'm going to wear my pack over it and end up covering it up.

I rather people just come out and admit it. "I thought I had it. Turned out to be a bad shot. I twitched or miscalculated. I messed up. I'll be more careful next time." You know what? S#!t happens. As long as you own up to it, it's cool. But if you're going to go off and act like it never happened, I'm inclined to believe you're going to do it again without a care and that's what worries me. I'll admit myself. I took a 42 yard shot this year. Clean miss thankfully. Heart was pumping. Right before she was about to reach my shooting lane another hunter spooked her. She ran right pass me and stopped just out of my shooting lane. I had to lean to the side a little to avoid a branch. I ended up squeezing my left hand on the shot and pulled left. Hit a tree about 6 inches from my intended target. Lesson learned. I messed up; it was a bad decision on my part. Good thing nothing bad came out of it. Next time I'll let it go if they're not in my comfortable shooting lane/angle. We all make mistakes. Its part of being human. Just own up to it. Then it'll be a question on error rather than a question of ethics.

My pre-hunting days. -
When it comes to dieting and nutrition, any green leafy vegetable are your best friend. That said, some of my personal favorites would be asparagus, kai-lan, collared greens, brussel sprouts, broccoli, spinach, and alfalfa sprouts.

Cuse...try going into "Settings" then "Privacy" then "Photos" and then make sure Tapatalk is "On". If it is "on" then I don't know what the problem would be. I'm just taking a guess here.

I live in NYC so I hunt near it. Any land near NYC is usually shoulder to shoulder with hunters.
-
Not sure if wind keeping them down, fallen leaves makes them feel more open, or too many hunters trample through the public lands I'm hunting but I saw a ton of action earlier this season, right now I see nothing. Absolutely nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I like oranges. You guys all should like oranges too. Apples are clearly inferior. Any one who likes apples must be out of their mind! Oranges are taste the best. No, you cannot have your own opinion. Must like what I like because what I like is obviously much better that the other options. Those who think they have successfully ate an apple and actually liked it must be lying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
