What's the most "worthless"
Elmo replied to fasteddie's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
I bought this thing here. Maybe I'm an idiot because I could never get it to work. It doesn't hold still. http://www.basspro.com/Big-Game-Treestands-Universal-Platform-Mount-Bow-Holder/product/10202119/?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions -
Spending time in the woods and might have to be a goal for me. Hopefully I can get a deer with the limited amount of time.

Also keep in mind, crossbows are not allowed in Westchester. I too got a bow to extend my season. But once I started practicing with it, I enjoy just shooting it just like I would shoot a gun at the range. Now...if they told me I could never hunt with a bow again, I would still find myself going to the archery range every once in a while just to shoot for fun. I don't think crossbows would do that for me.

I've never really fished as a kid. As an adult, I've gone occasionally with friends more to share a drink and just hang out and some times a fish would actually bite my line. I starting getting more into it the last few years now that I'm older and much more settled down. Then I switch jobs a couple of months ago and now I don't seem to have time for anything. Twice this past month my 3 and half year old son told me he wants to go fishing. I don't know where he got that from. Maybe saw something on TV or something. Now I need to find some time and maybe look for a stocked pond or something. He loves nature and I totally see him taking up hunting and fishing when he gets older. My negative 3 month old hasn't said anything unless you count his kicks as a sign that he wants to fish as well.

Why Does No One Care About This?

In Kyrgyzstan it is legal to kidnap women and force them into marriage. I wonder what the out cry would be if someone from Kyrgystan came to the US, didn't bother learning to rules, and just kidnaps some random girl walking to school. -
Congratulations!

Under the current rates, if you hunt every year for the next 18-19 years, you'll break even. Every years after that is free. Now that under the current rates. You don't think they won't hike up the price every so often? Buy it. It's a no brainer. Heck, I haven't gotten around to it yet but I plan on buying it for my 3 year old son too even if for some reason he decides he won't hunt it's worth the gamble.

I bought a two of these in different color: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SHW9M2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It seems like I missed my window. I had a really busy May anyhow and it looks like a busy July as well.

Having these super teams has ruined the NBA for me. I remember watching the Jordan Bulls. Even though Jordan won each time, you went into each playoffs with a feeling any team has a chance. After Durant left to join the Warriors, there's no point in watching the NBA for the next few years. It's going to be Warriors versus the Cavs every finals with the Warriors winning it. No suspense left.

Those two places looks awesome. -
Calm down fellas...this is how you hold a snapping turtle. It helps when your hands are the size of King Kong's.

Yes, you did. I thought I had mentioned that I would after your post. If not, then here's your credit.

All these years and I never knew it was there. Its great that they have both Japanese, Korean, and Chinese groceries all in one spot. Good to know. I'll probably stop off there every once in a while for a novelty item or two since it's along the way. As far as produce though, I'll probably still stick to heading down to Flushing and Stew Leonards.
