  1. Not that I am an expert on fly fishing but whenever we got to the stream we would kinda sneak up on it and watch for about 5-10 min to see if anything was hatching or if fish where rising and that helped start what we would throw. We would kinda do the same thing if we rounded a big bend and the stream changed in topography a little especially in the evening when their feeding patterns changed based on a hatch that's happening. Nothing can compare to getting a wild trout on a dry fly, sadly for me at least it really does not happen often as I mostly fished wet fly's.

  3. I logged in this morning to my retirement account after getting an email saying that my statement was ready. Last year I was +23.7 and year to date this year I am -9.82%. Not to bad all thing considered. At one point it was -14% so it looks like its already recovering and I am still on track to have more than enough to retire at 67. Oh and it looks like at the worst time I took a $9,630 hit but its already going back up.
  4. My order from Budsguns this afternoon has already shipped! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. FYI. when you burp while wearing your N95 mask after having smoked polish sausage for dinner it’s not very pleasant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. From my recent searches Budsguns.com SWFA.com Targetsportsusa.com Gunbroker.com before making a purchase pay attention to the shipping charges some are way higher than others. I ordered from SWFA.com at the end of March and while it was slow I did get what I ordered. I also just placed another order through budsguns.com so we shall see how that goes.
  7. I don’t live on enough land to comfortably shoot anything but the bow out to 30-40 yards. I have a few years to ponder this but it’s a good conversation for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Whats the work load like for 6-12 chickens? Couple hours a week? Couple of hours a day? somewhere in the middle or even more?
  11. I was just going to ask if you know if the junkyards are open. It's been a while since I did a junk yard run. I always found it fun and would walk the entire yard just to see what was there. Worst I saw was a car that had no doubt been in a major head on collision with damage to the inside of the front window and a bid Bio-Hazard warning sticker on it!!!!! No idea why it was even in the yard. It freeked my buddy out good
  12. Correct Instacart charges more which I knew because they do say the prices are slightly higher than in store but they do not tell you how much more. I was honestly shocked when my bill was $30 dollars cheaper by doing the shopping myself. Now to some people $30 to not have to go out right now maybe worth it and to others that $30 could be 2 less family meals that they can get.
  13. I wonder if the receipt gets rung up with the actual in store price then adjusted to the instacart price somehow and what you saw was the actual in store price as if you went there and made the purchases yourself. I know when you buy through instacart the items cost more per item than if you bought it in the store. Last time I tired instacart and couldn't get pick up or delivery I ended up going to the store myself. my instacart price would have been $188 and when I did the shopping I bought everything on the instacart list plus a couple items and my total was $155. Instacart is convenient in times like now but you defiantly pay for the convince.
  14. Private Clubs only from what I can tell. I do not play private clubs. Cuomo’s campaign donations must have been in jeopardy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I have a friend that lives 3 miles from the Rez. He has been harassing me weekly by taking a picture of how much he filled is tank up for!
  17. Saving money on gas since I mostly keep the truck parked and drive my wife's small SUV. Saving money from not bowling anymore, we had 4 weeks left when this all hit. So far I haven't spent any money on golf, waiting to pay for my Monday night league until we know when we can start. At the May 15th mark that will be 4 weeks missed. I haven't paid for my season golf pass for the same reason but if the courses open May 15th honestly not much golf will have been missed. The biggest gain is family time. We are taking full advantage of the situation and doing some quality family time. Dinner and a movie night's, board games, card games, I'm teaching my 9 year old how to cook and do some house maintenance. Heck even my daughters are having sister bonding time unforced by us!

  23. I have a never been used 20ga Mossberg pump at home that I really don't know what to do with. I won it in February of 2019 and my original idea was to hang onto for my daughter but turns out shes a lefty so this wont work. I would have to do some investigation into how much it's worth. It came with 2 barrels, one bird barrel and one rifled slug barrel with a scope mount and cheap 1x scope if I remember right. I honestly unpacked it from the box and put it in the gun safe. Never even purchased shells for it. I still have the box and paper work so the receipt with a price maybe in there. If its a trade you might be interested in when I get home I can look into it a bit more.
  24. I only live on 1.25 acres so I wouldn't have that many and I wouldn't want that many anyways I would only want enough to keep my family stocked with eggs and give the extras away. Even getting 6-7 eggs a day would be a lot for us.
