    We never seem to have an issue with our fresh cut trees. One trick I have heard of is for the first few waterings use hot water. Something about hot water stopping the sap from hardening and closing off the veins. We have done both cold and hot water with success so I really don’t know

    I’m more redneck than any of my family and close group of friends. The guys from work say I live in the sticks (I don’t but it’s on the outskirts of suburbia). Drive a truck, listen to country music, Hunt, fish and play outdoors. But I also work in an office in the middle of yuppieville, play golf, drink wine(in a wine glass from a bottle not a bag).     It's a dying sport in the school system's only a handful of schools have a team in New York my district being one of them. I read a few news articles last year as the team was doing really well in the state and to make the story short it was pointed out the the entire team is filled the Honor students because the discipline needed for rifle shooting is similar to the discipline needed to perform well in school.
