  1. Lol, I'm making the switch to a muzzle loader and pistol through all of gun season, so I don't need the shotgun any longer. I'm selling the pistol to move to a stainless Encore instead of blued.
  2. Sorry, this topic just annoys me lol Can't wait to read another 10 pages about it though.
  3. That's the next thing, barrels. Not sure if I will go with Bergara or the fluted Pro Hunter barrel. I'm planning on a pistol barrel or two and a 30-06 setup as well. What's the difference between the Bergara and the TC barrels?
  4. Some will, some wont. I think eddie's issue was that the cards had not been formatted from the factory. Most of them come pre-formatted.
  5. The guy planting food plots is doing something legal, and you dumping Acorn Rage is illegal, thats all that really matters in NY. Theres about 15 other copies of this conversation on the site, do we really need to go through it again?
  6. Yep. Mandatory reporting of each tag (filled or unfilled) really should be put in place.
  7. Of course! As soon as she gets here, pics will be posted!
  8. I just made a deal to trade my Encore handgun for a never been shot stainless Encore Whitetail Extreme frame with a set of walnut pistol and rifle stocks. Now I just have to pick up the ML and pistol barrels with the money I get from selling my current ML and shotgun. The Encore Whitetail Extreme was a special run model from 2003, of which only 200 were made. Its a gorgeous frame with full engraving on both sides. Im more than excited about the trade and cant wait to get the new one in my hands!
  9. The DEC has already said they will be keeping track of crossbow harvests separately. The numbers should be pretty accurate if people report their kills properly. DEC's meathodology isnt always that hard to understand if you read up on what they are doing.
  10. Im kinda the same way, but I guess Im supposed to look through all of them lol. If theres a few you dont want to open in a section, theres an option you can click on that says "mark this forum as read". You wont have to open all of the topics in there for it to show up as no new posts.
  11. So I tried sealing some steaks and then opened the package after 4 hours, no odd smells or anything.Meat smelled the same as it did when I packaged it.
  12. Ive had a Bushnell Banner for years, never a problem with it. They arent what I consider high end or anything, but for an inexpensive, all around scope, they are ok. I have a couple pair of cheap binos made by them, and they do just fine for carrying in the truck to glass fields, etc. If I want high end glass, I go with Vortex, and Leupold is very nice as well. Id classify Nikon as somewhere around upper mid level stuff. Id buy it if I got a great deal on it, like I did with the 1 pair of Nikon binos I have.
  13. Someone posted pics of that deer before. Pretty cool.
  14. Yikes! I spent a couple of hours in packaging and putting together the kid's toys Christmas day. The way they package some stuff is just plain ridiculous.
  15. Well, I called in my last two because my Internet was down and I reported my first online and I remember seeing it as a choice on the web and know it was a choice over the phone.
  16. Oh, and people that call the cops on neighbors for peanut shells being deposited in their yard by squirrels are they type of people that keep me loving life in the country.
  17. Actually, feeding deer is illegal no matter the time of the year. That is, unless you are cutting trees and leaving the tops lay there or planting food plots. Not sure about squirells, but I dont think it is.
