I have a Mossberg 500 with the 24" rifled barrel. With Remington Copper Solids I have knocked deer down at 80 yards. Its an old one too and was retired last year. Its a great gun.

I have many many recipes for venison. I also use it as a general replacement for beef.

Now do you understand why these guys go to ranches and such to get their animals on film most of the time? Im sure there are guys on this site that film their hunts, ask them how much extra goes into it. Its business at that level. Id never want to do it.

The state park think is state law. The other two, im not 100% on the legalities, your best bet would be to call your local Sheriffs department and ask. That way you have it straight from the horse's mouth.

Ferns will grow in lower light than many other plants though. If you can thin it out by felling a few trees and leaving the tops lay, youll be creating cover in that area, also great for deer!

You arent allowed to carry in state parks, I do know that because when I go camping, I leave it at home. Darien lake, well, I think as soon as someone spotted it, youre going to have a mess on your hands, so it would be best not to do it. In a bar, well, thats just a bad idea period.

That is a shame, and it also is not something where we should be welcoming or justifying more of it. I agree, but half the reason the people posted the list was probably to get everyone fired up and acting like fools. What better way to show their viewpoint than to have gun owners doing things like harassing the people that posted it? I guess my main point is that its not something to go crazy about and that people should go about it the right way to make sure the info is private from now on.

No it doesnt, it lists name and address, thats it. I sit corrected . I corrected my statement just before your post . The number on the list , just before the name has nothing to do with a Permit # . The list numbers are in sequence with names being alphabetically listed . Anyway , what can an anti-gun or anti-hunter do with the list ? Nothing really. If they were to harass you, just call the police.

Harassment through the mail? Really? If you dont want to read it, throw it out. In this day and age, if you dont have your guns locked in a safe, you are taking a big chance. Personally I like to keep my guns under lock and key in a safe at all times other than when I am using them.

Yeah mine too, I went over on Friday and put the trail cam up and the whole plot was green and about 2 or 3 inches high already. Ill go check the cam in a couple more days and post pics if there are any.

You may want to do some searches on what bucks do the breeding in a deer herd, you would be very surprised to see the results.

I have in the past, but no longer do. I have passed alot of bucks in the last 4 years.

I wax mine and lube the servings once a month or so, depends on when I feel it needs it really. I got 3 seasons out of my string and cable, switching it out this year. I would have gotten more out of it if it wasnt for a problem with my cam.

I have used Crimson Talon XTs with good luck, but the replacement blades are tough to find. I have Grizz Tricks to try this year. Ive tried Muzzys too.

Ive had 2 PSEs in a row. The only reason I will get away from them is lack of factory support in the area to take care of warranty issues. Other than that, they are great bows.
