Those are nice deer. I really like that tall one.

The guy that just opened in Henrietta is someone I know. Hes a good guy, bought my first bow from him years ago when he had his first archery shop up on Black Lake. His parents babysat my daughter for a couple of years. As far as i know, he knows his stuff pretty good. He always has a stand at the Avon DEC days.

Fields growing pretty good!

I also, would find the travel corridors and hunt them, about 20 to 40 yards into the woods from the field during bow season. For gun season, pick a spot that you can see as many trails as possible on the edge of the field. Make sure to set up a few stands so you can hunt the area based on wind direction for the day. -
Should be a good season for ya! Plots are looking good!

I could say something about that picture and a release, but I wont.

heard that as well... do you use one? Yep, use them in very early bow season and for camping, bonfires. You get them in camo or I think a couple diff colors. They also make a lantern with LED lights in it. The refills arent that bad if you buy them in the larger packs. http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/

You know, I caught part of that once, forgot the name of it though. There was an episode of her show when Tiffany briefly appeared in a bikini. It was glorious. Pics are all over the net.

Tiffany is smokin, but that new country singer chick is hawt. Theres another one too, but I cant remember her name. Ill remember it, just gimme a minute....

Yep. I have heard of issues with this cam taking B&W shots during the day though. We will see what happens with it. -

I know my other IR cam just automatically does it. I dunno, I havent looked into it yet. Ill look for those though when I do. -
HAHA, yeah it can be a pain on big fields. It might be a good place for late season if the beans are just left in there. I have been glassing alot of bean fields lately though, some nice bucks around our neck of the woods this year.
-
Get a Thermacell, they are magical lol. Seriously, they just plain work.
-
If they are strictly soybean fields, Id say not to put too much stock in them. This time of the year is when soybeans get hit the hardest, because they are still soft and the greens are fresh. Once they brown up and the beans dry, the deer will not eat them. Ive been seeing deer in every bean field for the last week or so, but that will come to an end before long. Also remember, you cannot pattern the deer for hunting season right now, they are in a summer time feeding pattern. Once we get closer to season and the velvet starts coming off, they are going to completely change their patterns. If you really want stands on that field, set up on the inside corners.
-
If you look at it, the shot scenario is pretty obvious. The deer was very close to the stand, probably 10 yards or less and it looked up at the guy. That probably made him think "its now or never" and he pulled the trigger. Horrible shot, and horrible decision.

Thats all I need to do? Damn! Gotta get my signs made up...

Thanks guys. Yeah the IR is pretty good on this cam. I just need to figure out why ts using it in the day time as well as night. It probably needs a software update. -

This one IS taunting me lol -
Ive had the cam out since Friday and got almost 200 pics so far. Looks like it might be a good year. This buck was a spike with small brows last season, I passed on him more times than I could count both in bow and gun season, he almost taunted me I thought lol. He was a 1 1/2 last year and will be a 2 1/2 this season. Hopefully he makes it this year and he should be a great 3 1/2 next year.
-
I got mine with my my PSE ThunderBolt also lol. That really was a great shooting bow.

11 Million in debt isnt getting rich lol These people are part of the reason why this country is as screwed up as it is economically. Living beyond your means for no reason other than you want to keep up with the Jones' became completely accepted by many. Now its biting us all in the arse. Im pretty sick of these shows that glorify that kind of behavior. I dont understand why people watch it.

send letters for crossbows in NY

Right, which is why you need to keep your shots short. The reports of being able to hunt effectively at or close to 100 yards is nonsense used by the anti-crossbow crowd to try and liken them to guns.

send letters for crossbows in NY

I love the comparison of crossbows to slingshots, and spears. Its just plain funny. While its cool to hear about his determination to continue bowhunting, why try to use it to limit others in what they wish to do as long as the weapon is able to make a clean, ethical kill? Makes you wonder...
