Just don't have any bird feeders around Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

Bird feeders are bait stations now? Improperly tagged I can see Protected wildlife how does that fit in? Sounds to me like the neighbor wanted to harvest that deer and didn't like getting the short end of the stick. Additionally game cameras can be used for anything how yg as the proves it was for watching tg as the deer is really stretching it. Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

They would probably also be more likely to say yes if someone his age also volunteered to do some work around the farm Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk -

Firstly, I say more power to ya! Secondly, I'm looking to take my 2.5 year old grandson out for a while as well, and I think that it is great you starting them so early as I did 50 years ago, without the ear pro though. The ear pro is a must, even if you are not shooting let him get used to wearing it so when the time come he has got it under control. Has he spent any time with you at the range so he is at least some what familiar with a rifle/shotgun blast ? In my opinion this must be done first so he is not scared when you do shoot. I think your plans of keeping him busy are admirable, but at 2 years old a 5x5 box gets pretty boring. I definitely commend you for your attitude of the time spent with him is the priority, if he only lasts a couple of hours then wants to go bouncing around the woods with you, I have that ability, or he wants to go home oh well. The deer will be there another day and we spend some more time out there.. We will literally have 4 generations hunting this year. It is a great feeling Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

I live in Florida most of the year so ticks are not as prevalent as in NY, but we give our dogs a pill once every 3 months called bravecto we get from the vet. Literally never have a flea or tick on them. Is there any particular reason that you guys don't use this? Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

Did the farmer also want you to shoot a large number of nuisance does? Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

I shoot 300 win mag, or 300 WSM. 35 years ago I shot a deer in the front shoulder, tracked him for 2 miles. Told myself I would only shoot neck or head from then on, if I can't get that shot I don't take it. Killed one every year since then using 150 165 or 180 grain nosler partition. Every year very consistent. Pencil hole going in golf ball size coming out, in fact the only thing holding the head to the body is skin.No blood trail worries, they are DRT. Yes I agree any centerfire caliber with any type bullet will create the same desired effect. I also agree location, location, location. I am assuming the ML Shockwave will do the same thing using the same location. I despise chasing wounded deer. If you are going to shoot in any other area besides the CNS, you will always have the same areas of concern. Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk
