We got 3/4" between yesterday and today. Unfortunately most of it was heavy and ran off instead of soaking in.

I remember when blinds advertised shoot though mesh panels. I always wondered how they would effect the arrow flight. Hunted from blinds on and off over the yrs. Always keep shooting windows open.

The cell that heading my way (4U) is hitting Binghamton now. However, it looks like the brunt of it is going south of us. Hopefully it tracks a little north.

Never thought about that, but I also get my non ethanol gas from a dedicated pump. If I ever do get it from a multi pump, I like your idea of purging the gas before putting it in a dedicated non ethanol can.

I read somewhere that last yrs EHD in our areas was due mainly from a storm that basically blew the midges into the areas that never had them before, and after the winter, we wouldn't see EHD return. I hope they were correct.

And we wonder why we have bag limits now, lol. I'd love to actually see one fire in person. You'd need a lot of shoot-n-see targets.

I've taken two in Maine. First was with a outfitter, we hunted out of Escort Station. The second I hunted with a buddy of mine who set up the bait sites. Fun times.

I like that. My current deck is about 8' from the pool but like yours, probably around 16" lower than the top of the pool. Was thinking about running 2x10's on top of the current deck up to the pool.

First swim will be later this evening after my wife and I get back from our 12th anniversary dinner.

Temp is up to 72°. Hazy sun today, was hoping it would get up to around 76° by afternoon. Solar cover has been on, but don't know how effective they really are.

Took them about 6 hrs to excavate the area and install the pool. So far, not including chemicals, my free pool has cost me $2400. Electrician is coming tomorrow to go over code. I'll do most of the prep work to try and keep the cost down.

Like grampy, we had a great crop last yr, and this yr is the opposite. Never get the chance to hunt around apples, as they usually drop before the season starts.
