If these enough steel there, it might be able to be welded. Post some pics.
-
The only time I have that issue is a bent blade or low tire.
-
I'm hopeful my cousin gets one this yr. Looking forward to going if he does.
-
You sure did, look at his face, lol.
-
Thanks. I had them on the pit for about 25 min at 300°. They didn't last long.
-
So you're saying to save my money and stop trying the impossible, lol.
-
Looks great. I can't make a tender pork chop unless I SV them..

Brisket was probe tender in the point at 190°. The flat however wasn't cooperating. Didn't probe until 208°. If I was making burnt ends, I would have separated the point @ 190, and put the flat back on to continue the breakdown of the fibers. With this cook I was going to slice the point and flat, so I didn't separate. Pulled the brisket and vented for a few minutes before putting it in a cooler wrapped in towels. Around noon. Sliced it up at 5pm. Both the flat and point were spot on. Juicy and sooooo tender. Bald spot was a sample that I just had to try..

Elizabeth Ann is fired up. Brisket was at 145° when I put it on the stick burner. I'll wrap at 165 ish or whenever it hits the stall, and let it go until it's probe tender, probably around 203-205°. I'll then wrap it in towels and into the cooler for a few hours rest.

If I live to see another spring turkey season, I'll cherish that one as I did this one. Not saying I'll never shoot another 2 yr old, but yesterday I was more than happy to watch the show and listen to the music.

I've shot a ton of birds over the yrs. Love hunting them. Love isn't there to kill.a easy bird. Not saying I wouldn't have killed a limbhanger if he decided to come in that easy, but that hasn't been my experience. At 300 plus yards, it was impossible to see their spurs. Same as a deer, I'll.pass on a 1.5 or 2.5 yr old. In my old age.. it's more about fooling than then killing them.

Drove by the farm after the wife and I went to Hannaford. 3 long beards strutting there stuff on the edge of a newly plowed field. It was 10:45. Shotgun and camo was in the truck. Parked and left the wife to listen to music, as I went after them. Called them in to 20 yrds with two soft clucks into the pines. All three were two yr olds, as I could easily see their spurs at 20 yrds. I passed. I'm hoping they survive the winter and get some experience under there wing. Wife didn't understand and was rather irritated. My response, you married a hunter, what did you expect?

Usually it's SPOG. Salt, pepper, onion, garlic. However I was out of "O" ( onion powder). So I had some rub that was heavy on onion, and added so additional garlic and black pepper. I mean how can I go wrong with more garlic?

14lb brisket going on the pellet smoker at midnight. Getting up at 6am and firing up the reverse flow smoker to finish the brisket. Cracked out sausage and cheese balls ready for the pit for app around 3pm tomorrow.

I've purchased my last 3 or 4 sets from seatcoversunlimited. Just got a set of the Carhartt camo the other day. Haven't had a chance to install yet though.
-
Looking good. Hate to see what those 6x6's cost.

What on your menu this weekend to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed everything for our country? Have a few family and friends coming over Sunday. Smoking a 14lb prime brisket, 2 racks of St Louis ribs, baked beans and "cracked out" cheese balls for a appetizer. People will be bringing the usual salads and finger foods. Have a great weekend everyone.

I'm not sure I should admit this, but at first glance I thought it said plastic penis, and ..... Well nevermind.

Very possible there was two, and one didn't make it. Would make sense why momma was lurking around.
-
I'll bet momma found her. She probably has her stashed in the same area today.

My area has a fantastic population. Always has. Ya it's been down here and there do to bad springs, but overall it's fantastic.
-
WTH. What's in the water up there?
-
Yes I can. At least 20° cooler would be great.

It definitely effects there patterns. I usually find them in heavily shaded areas after fly down when it's hot out. Hay fields are also getting very tall. Your not as likely to see a strutter in them. They tend to avoid tall grass in the morning as they get soaked walking through, and it's much harder for them to see coyotes or fox looking for a meal.

My wife just got a S22 ultra. I was playing around with the cam. Definitely does a good job. My Motorola edge has a 108 pixel cam, and does really well.
