  1. Never had a hunting dog, So can't help you choose which is best. Good luck with your search.
  2. The speed setting shouldn't keep it from starting. Did you pull the plug and see if you have spark?
  3. I'm thinking Photoshop. Highly doubtful they would let him do that. Wouldn't doubt if he got some backlash from corporate for the Photoshop.
  4. Different strain. Plus his sleigh pullers are in everyone's freezer.
  5. No choke has been working 58 yrs for me, so guess I'm luckier.
  6. Ya, old trick to hold it wide open while cranking, but you shouldn't choke a flooded Engine.
  7. If it's flooded, I wouldn't choke it. Hold wide open and crank. If that doesn't work, pull the plug and see if you have spark.
  8. Public land.... I don't think you can screw/nail anything in trees...
  9. IMO, pellets are easier. I've had the wind blow away loose power as I was dumping it. I've also had speed loaders open in my pocket. No biggie with pellets. They both work well. I've got 2 bottles of 209 left over after I switched back to 777. I agree the 209 is much easier to load a 2 or 3rd shot. I can get 3 shots with 777, but the 3rd isn't easy. 4th shot would be about impossible.
  10. The stock breech plug will work fine with 777 or pryo. I use 777. While it's not as clean burning as b209, it's definitely convenient in pellet form. I use 2 pellets and traditions sabot/bullet. Don't remember the grain. I've tried every powerbelt out there, and my ML just doesn't like them.
  11. I like my tactacam's. Work well. Wish all cams had GPS capability, but I realize it would increase the price. Even though a thief couldn't use your cam as a cell cam, they could use it as a standard cam. I they had GPS, you could call authorities and hopefully catch the scumbag. Think there's only a couple cams on the market with GPS, and there expensive.
  12. I like it alot. The only way I'd get one done, is if I actually had to pack one out that way. At this stage in my life, if my " horse" doesn't have a wheels, I ain't going. Lol.
  13. It's not the immediate side effects I'm worried about, it's the long term damage that this could potentially due. With a 99.5% survival rate, there's just no way I would take it. If the airlines were require it, I wouldn't fly.
  14. Smoked, steamed, sliced and packaged. So juicy I had to use the pulse function on the vac sealer or it would pull the juices into the sealer.
  15. Day 14.... Took the meat out of the brine and rinsed it off. Color was perfect. Smelled good too. Cleaned up some more of the silver skin( was in a rush when I threw these in the soak, but I usually clean them before brining). Added salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. I go easy on the salt as the brine adds enough. I do go heavy on the pepper though. On the pit at 225° until they reach a IT of 110°. Then steamed until 125° - 130° . Let cool and slice. I'll post pics along the way. This batch will be mostly given to friends and family as Xmas gifts.
  16. Nephew Kayden got a start on next yrs firewood. 245g powerbelt preformed well.
  17. I've got this afternoon and morning and afternoon tomorrow and I'm done. I've got a doe to skin and process, so almost hoping my nephew's don't connect, and I don't see a shooter, as I've got so much to do before Xmas.
  18. I also think it's the eye of round. I remove mine from the roast. There as good as the inner tender.
