no big bucks like some of you folks sure have but a 6-7 point is a shooter from my treestand. A curious doe and yes I will pass on the fawns. No big boys on cam yet but they were only out a week and only did three close by. -
Ditto. I actually think the one behind it is bigger. Crazy bucks

The run might be over. Lake is turning green and it's looking like my usual August. Caught 5 eyes today but only one keeper. Had a double then too but other came off. Also 6 baby perch and a sheepshead. Usually August I just can't find em esp when the lake starts getting green and today was the first of this I have really seen this year. Fishing will be tough now til Fall. But that's ok cause I really need to get deer hunting prep done. Another week of 90s isn't helping though. -

Let's say they are inflated by 20% it's still 120,000 deaths in 6 months Which is more than the flu. People keep saying they are inflated but does it matter? -
Is all this food in prep for jerkmans wedding reception? Looks awesome!

Congratulations!!!!

It's hard to believe until 2020 started. I expect any day the govt to announce that Bigfoot, aliens, Nessie and a free lunch all exist! Yeah gotta agree with ya, its the same people that still fall for telemarketing.

See above. Think cdbing nailed it. Prob float and carb service . I know you said it's an older motor and not used too much if I remember.....those old carbs can get finicky. And if it's set a lot things get dry rot etc. Usually if an older motor is getting fuel but not running well it's either carb or plugs. Not much electronic issues to worry about. Prob new plugs and carb service would put you back in business.

Did a little work on lease. Got rest of cams up and did some looking around. Heard yotes barking close waited a minute and out one came into the trail about 80-90 yards. Couldn't snap a pic quick enough. It went into woods and two of them were yipping for a bit in the neighbors property. Pull cards on the three cams I put up a week earlier and have a lot of doe pics and one nice 7 point. Marked off some spots to cut. Skeeters were really bad even when we sprayed down. So gonna wait til see cooler weather and try to knock it all out in a day. But it was good to be out there. Corey got a cool close up of a butterfly. Took a couple of pics of the mowed trail on one side. Owner is going out soon to cut again. He has a huge brush hog and tractor and makes short work of it. But he is also very busy and works a ton. We need to just get a trail mower. Corey was on the hunt for one and it sold in less than 2 hours. -

2020 WNY Archery Academy is Finally Open!

It's 3 for a GTG last I knew , But I don't think we can afford the franchise payments every month anyway. Maybe we can get a grant and be a SUNY but then we would have to donate to Bizs site to get that. So guess we will have to operate under the table. -

I shot bow over at Fishdo's house all the time including last night. How much are the franchising fees ? and how many members would we need for a CNY division? -

Good to hear! Biz was ready to drop the 1100 inches to 800 just to allow for all the misses. Looks like a great time. Glad you guys are back in action. Bloody new truck posts are a must this year. 2 buck Larry and his white truck ought to make for some good pics. -
Biz how is mule deer? It's one I've never had. I'm pretty sure you got them on a western hunt if I remember right?? My favorite is caribou out of all I've tried. I've heard axis deer is great.

Salmon in some herbed butter and local corn from roadside stand. This popcorn flavoring is better on real corn. And a fine beer.

I have to agree- been asking "what have they done for me lately" for a few years. About the only gun rights group with at least somewhat of a base of membership. Hell PETA has more members than the NRA these days - which tells you right there where society is. I am sure they didnt bother with NY laws cause they realize its a waste of funds and NY is a lost cause and a fight they wont win and prob a fairly low membership state per population. But i havent liked a lot of their moves over the last few years, sadly no other group is taking up any fight either. Sometimes i feel about the NRA like i do about Trump - like some of the stuff he does hate swallowing the rest. Im not sure whos leadership can bring it back or bolster their numbers enough to give them any real say. Charleton Heston aint walking thru that door.
