blinds arent cheating by me- I hate them. I have tried using them a few times and i hate sitting in them. Except on days its pouring but chances are i wouldnt hunt those days. But treestands i love those. I have 14 of them setup for the season.

dunno if you can shoot bow at your house or not, but its always a nice break for 15 minutes a night to take a few quick shots before dark and a beer. First beer only of course. If you have to go somewhere thats a PITA

A lot of car dealerships use the ozonics as well inside the vehicles to get out smell. Im in , gonna use it for sure. has got to be something different that me and my hunting buddy do and I would guess scent control, as I finally talked him into playing the wind and not going with ...."got feeling" on which stand to hunt last year.

im with ya Biz. I start shooting about Aug 1. I actually used to shoot a lot more. But it seemed i got more in my head than anything else and was trying to tweek to much. I seem to shoot better nowadays when i practice to make the first shot count, and then take two others to be sure all is good and thats it. I will do one 3D course before season as I usually do, just because it builds confidence and its fun. Plus it gets ranges back in your mind. I guess from shooting for so many years my form is pretty well locked in.

In august I have a little side shed that I will hang all my scent free washed hunting gear in to be ready for season. I do use scent free shampoo as its the same cost as regular so why not. Ive had many a deer walk under and around me on stand and even in my wind and have gotten away with it. I def play the wind to the letter though as i think that is a bigger advantage but sometimes they dont read the rules and come in the opposite way. I also spray down before i go into hunt. Now does all of this stuff work? dunno but for $4 for a bottle of shampoo, $2 for scent free deodorant, and maybe $15 in spray for a season I will take the chance and use it. Me and my hunting buddy hunt the same ground at our lease - last season I saw 10 times the deer the did and I had does at 4 yards walking around me that he wouldve loved to get a shot at. this year I have an ozonics bag that the GF got me for xmas. Gonna give that a try on my clothes esp in between the Am and Pm hunt. I have it, why not use it, and take any advantage possible.

whatever plot your planting I am guessing isnt barley or soy to attract this........ the devils lettuce i would presume.....

one of my best days fishing was out on a lake in the dacks and we were watching two fawns chase each other back and forth in the water for over an hour. They were having a grand time. Kicking up back feet and the water was flying - lol

i had the same thing happen with a bow. All of a sudden it was noisy on a shot and just started checking and it had loose screws in 3 different spots. It was a new bow and I tightened them and never had a problem since. But i check them now everytime i wax the bow just to be sure.

I have a buddy that broke up with a girl cause they went out to eat and she ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. He had the pork chop dinner and just knew it wasn't gonna work out. Lol

I have now been a member of this site for one year and just have to say thank you. Thanks to all the members here and to the operators and moderators of this site. I dont use bookface or chatter snap or the titter so this is my online place to be. To hang with people of the same ilk and interests and be able to share info and good times with has been great. I have def made a few friends on this site and hopefully (lol) no enemies. I have to say for the vast majority there are some really good folks here with great knowledge and a sense of humor and I appreciate you all. I have learned a lot from this site and not all of it has been just about hunting either. just want to say Thanks to all !

most of the walleyes i get i am fishing light action tackle on 6lb test and not trolling so that makes the fight a bit better as well. But yes they are the best eating fish there is. most of the ones i get are between 3-5 pounds. Even a huge one is 8-10 pounds. Cant compete with a drag screaming 20lb king for sure. Thats a whole different zip code. They wont even fight as much as a 3-5 lb smallmouth but for table fare they are great and on lite line put up a bit of a fight. I would compare them to lake trout some as for fighting. plus I live on Oneida so in 5 minutes i am on the water and my boat is much more geared for this type of fishing than being on the big great lakes. I have been thinking to do some trout fishing on some of the finger lakes next spring though.

zoom it way in and it looks like it went from a 4 to a 6. If its only 1.5 old etc its not gonna be a huge growth in a month. Its only gonna get so big regardless.

looks like you have some competition Jay over Sheepshead champion! When i was writing this i just realized I havent caught a single one out of Oneida yet this year. Def odd - usually catch a few, fun fight.
