  3. Seems like it has good smoke flavor. I added onion powder when I made them but whether it was the onion or not it has the flavor. I smoked these cause when I cased them they were too fine grain from the sausage attachment on the grinder. So 1/2 the bunch came out like that. The other I ran through my regular sausage stuffer on the kitchen aid and I left it as fresh sausage in the freezer. This will be used with eggs, soups and stews, pizza toppings etc. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  4. Def nice to be outside without a jacket. Got all the windows open. Thought about cutting some brush today but still a lot of snow on the ground. But a dog walk and running the smoker is all good. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

  9. Even the guy that has an electric car business says to increase fuel production! https://news.yahoo.com/extraordinary-times-demand-extraordinary-measures-014829422.html?guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAANivYZdqdEFAOE9kL9cpkg_VQ8ze0hx8OPsUFp1DxEt8tQ1iXSQbZL1qeEM7gug03R-vF5wEWMMpVEVrdkT88sD62Y9NWBamZbI5f14YYHJifjA1bD6-OK1_N_wOhr2frJVN-csGvrUrdJETx3pqKBlH7ouv9zuPnfsm2f-F69P7 Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  10. That's cool. Must be something in the water around there! Amazing how late it is to see that type of behavior in a buck. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  11. I agree with all of those but it is not up to me to decide who and what other people protest or stand for. I don't have to agree with it. To think all those trucks are filled with orders of baby formula is ridiculous. Do you really think independent truckers are taking full loads of goods with them? Because it is inconvenient for others they shouldn't stand for something they believe? If they feel they need to protest that badly and it's peaceful I have no problem with it. Admire their conviction. Why are you and I not out protesting all those things you listed that we agree on? They have the sand to do it and feel they must I don't have a problem with it. We should be in Albany protesting bail reform every day. But being inconvenient for others isn't the reason we aren't there. There is food on the shelves none of us are starving, and the shortage of ammo has nothing to do with a trucker protest. That's a convenient stretch to fit your argument. Why are you against this protest? Cause you don't agree with it? I don't agree with most protests and think they are a waste of time but I will never stand against them as long as they peaceful. Just as I wont stand against freedom of speech if it's a topic I don't believe in. All speech must be free or none of it is. The trucking industry that is paying $5 a gallon for gas for their livelihood due to poor administration and policy seems like a good reason to me. Now that being said it looks to me like it has def fallen apart some as it started for mandates due to Covid which has lessened. And I agree that this isn't needed for that now. But I can see it reforming for so many other issues. From border security to the keystone pipeline. And remember because NY lifted the mask mandate the federal requirements are still in place. I still have to wear a mask everyday at work per federal government regulations for Transportation as well as state regulations for health care facilities. But I can go to a football game with 70,000 people and not have to wear one. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

  14. I'm sure all those trucks must have baby formula on them and not empty. And I do support it if for the right reasons. I don't have a problem with BLM protests neither it's the violence I have a problem with. Protesting is part of the rights we have in this country whether I agree with the reason or not. And sometimes it's the only outlet there is when the elected have yet again failed the people. Then the people need to be heard. People are ticked off at supply disruptions not because of the hard working truck driver but because of poorly run govt mandates, policies and regulations. Is every one supposed to sit on their hands cause it's inconvenient for others? Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  15. gas went from $3.79 here at 5:30 am to $4.10 in 12 hours. And the Russian fuel imports havent even been stopped yet. Hold onto your wallets folks Strike that $4.19 now. $4.10 is cash.
  16. they have plenty to protest about - this country is a mess. Hopefully they take a position on reopening the keystone pipeline.
  17. i heard that too and i bought 5 bags about a month ago and it was about all they had
  18. Gas prices are going up and various organizations around the U.S. have started publishing tips about saving money on fuel. The American Petroleum Institute provides the following recommendations Keep your vehicle's engine in good condition. A well-tuned engine allows you to travel one mile farther per gallon of fuel. Maintain proper air pressure in your tires. Here, the amount of fuel savings is also about one extra mile per gallon. The faster you travel, the greater your fuel consumption is. (You lose approximately two miles per gallon every time you raise your speed by 10 mph). Try to speed up gradually when you stop for a traffic light. Try to drive smoothly. Stopping, accelerating, or decreasing your speed leads to the loss of two miles per gallon of fuel. Do not allow your engine to idle. Turn the ignition off whenever possible. Use the air-conditioner sparingly as it requires a large amount of power. The Federal Trade Commission recommends the following: Observe speed limits. Avoid aggressive driving. Plan your trips. One long trip is better than a few short ones. Do not overload the vehicle. A 200 pound weight increases fuel consumption by 2%. Avoid placing things on top of your car. This can reduce the fuel economy by 5%. Change oil and oil filters frequently. Read your car manual and use the type of gas recommended by the manufacturer. Higher octane gas does not increase fuel efficiency and may not have any positive influence on the car engine. Do not buy devices from manufacturers who promise dramatic fuel economy. Research shows that in most cases, such devices are useless and sometimes even harmful.
  19. i remember back when gas was $2.35 a gallon....... oh wait that was long ago. lol
  20. Looks like they are going to stop Russian fuel imports to the US ...... add in another .50. But lets not open the Keystone. ugh
  21. I'm gonna be rowing the f#&$ing boat this summer. The hell with that I will walk to work first, I like fishing better for sure . Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

  23. My house is far from yours Moog, but I looked up the estimated realtor values and it is worth double what I paid for it 8 years ago. Cottages down the road that are smaller and don't even have a driveway are going for 50k more than what I paid for mine. I'm not selling as I am happy here but it's amazing. Good luck with the sale and move. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
