  1. That's plenty of power for sure. But there are many good choices out there. I had issues with Rages with the blades popping out of the bands so I stay away from those. But swackers are a good head. NAP has some good ones too. That's plenty of power to shoot a mechanical. Anything under 55 I would steer towards a fixed like muzzy.

  3. Potato cheese and jalapeno perogies from Amish store, ham.
  4. I shoot 64#s. They leave crazy exit holes. But I would only suggest them or any mechanical if shooting a fairly high draw. They fly great, never open up until they are supposed to and leave awesome blood trails. Only time I haven't had a pass thru is when hitting the outside shoulder.
  5. Thanks all. I'm kinda figuring I just have it. Then wait til symptoms are over if I don't get a test before Thursday. Possible 16-20 inches of snow Tonite/tomorrow isn't gonna help things.
  6. Thanks. Drinking a cocktail of Gatorade and emergen C packs. Not too worried about getting really sick. But def will do what I can to not.
  7. Thanks. Kinda the way it is here. Onondaga broke their record yesterday for cases with 2400 and I'm sure its higher if more testing was avail. Oneida county also 6-700 a day now. They had a free home test handout yesterday in Oneida co in three places and they were out in 2 hours. Many are just riding out the symptoms for the 5 days. By the time I get a test I should be over it. Called Dr office the whole time they were open and never got thru, went onto Madison and Oneida co websites and went thru all the links and the earliest test was a PCR on wed or a rapid on Thursday so I took that one. In the meantime will try to find an at home test on Monday again and maybe get into a place in Camden that is supposed to get 24" of snow that is 15 minutes from me . If it was like chicken pox I would lick the floor at Walmart and get it over with. But I know several people that have gotten it twice now. Right now I just have a lower fever, tired, light headache and light sore throat so assuming I have it.
  8. That pretty much seems like the symptoms most are having.
  9. Thanks. I wish we had a Wegmans nearby. I've called everyplace that I can think of and no one has any til at least wed. And that's the ones I could thru on the phone to. I'm still looking . Maybe better chance of finding one Monday.
  10. I'm probably on this list too. Prob got the bad gambu! Can't find a damn test anywhere til mid week. Or an at home test. Thinking if I go to a spot on Monday in a foot of snow I stand a good chance of getting in. Have had a fever or borderline all weekend. Slight sore throat.
  11. They are already out. Spartan "Go Live" cam. They are like $400+ .
  12. Italian cheese omelette with spinach. Foothills moonshine breakfast sausage.
  13. The best broadheads were always made in the USA. Grim Reaper whitetails.
  14. They sure are . But how many half ass laws get passed in NY compared to Utah? The only reason I would think that they don't do this is more because the legislature doesn't give a rats about the hunters in NY, and the law would get no support or push due to apathy about the entire base of hunters or hunting ethics. If it was latched onto for an environmental or "green" reason then I wouldn't feel too safe about it. I would think though the base of outfitters in Utah wouldn't like this as it may limit the success of their business some.
  15. Trying to think of what other hobby that tactics and tech is banned by law because it is considered unethical. Did golf legally restrict rangefinders or draw drivers? I think people should be left to decide what is morally right for them. And to me trail cameras are just fun and prob make me take less deer cause I think I have a chance at a big one I'm getting on camera, so I hold out for it.
  16. I did that same thing three years ago. A few weeks of gun season and I had 6-7 deer guns. I narrowed it down to three. My coverall 30-06, a rifled 12 g and my sentimental favorite and still hunting 94 Winchester 30/30.
  17. Had that same thing this year. Had a cam there and about 50% of the time the deer used that trail. Already plan to open up a trail a few yards from there and home they use that instead. I did take a doe there this season too.
  18. I got the poly. It weighs less than the other pistols I had. And it's also a 5 shot to make it a little smaller to carry as well. It carries nice.
  19. Haven't taken a deer with it. Havent tried it yet for deer hunting. I see so few in gun season that I always bring the rifle. I got the 2.5" barrel. Plus one of the reasons I got it is that I am not the best shot with a pistol. So I shoot buckshot thru it or defense rounds I can't miss. Lol But I know the .45 would do the job on a deer.
  20. When I first got my permit kept changing pistols as I wasn't happy with the one I had. Started off with a .22 mag, .327 Ruger, bond arms ranger, but landed on the one I really like. The Judge 45/410 poly. Just wanted to have one I really liked and it's all I need and am very happy with the fit, carry and caliber. Love the 410 buckshot and slugs.
  21. Happy Birthday ! hope its a great day! @Cabin Fever
