  1. Sorry for your loss. Lost mine a few years back with similar issue, so can definitely relate. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  2. Duck looks to be a merganser (a fish-eating duck) from the bill. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  3. Sorry for your loss. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  4. Top is for Ruger Sp 101. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  5. I don't have a specific holster maker recommendation. OWB limits your apparel choices for concealment, but generally more comfortable. IWB can conceal even full size, but not as comfortable as OWB. I like minimalist leather belt slide holsters for OWB. The bottom holster is for a full size pistol. 6. These are what i have for the Shield. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  7. Great deal. I love the shield in 9mm. Make my own leather holsters. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  8. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  9. Dinsdale is quite possibly the most interesting guy on the forum. Great meet-up. Thanks Chef for organizing. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk

  11. Count me in. Looks like I am carpooling with AT. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  12. Besides having weight in the bed, put some cardboard behind the seat. If you get stuck put under tires. I did not believe it at first, but it works. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  13. If you are driving, I would be interested. I can send a PM or if you want to start a separate carpool thread and see if other 1c guys are interested, but like me, don't want to drive. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  14. Sorry for your family's loss. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks for sharing. Brings back some fond memories of duck hunting and chasing red fish and speckled trout around Merritt Is. FL. Good times. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  16. Hunted county land today in 1c. Saw a pair of red foxes and 11 does and fawns out of bow range. As i was packing it in, this fawn came by at about 35 yds. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  17. I have seen lots of deer tracks and a few deer on the right of way for powerlines and gas lines. I have taken 2 deer on wood lots adjacent to power lines and 5 deer on woodlots adjacent to railroad tracks. Also hunted a lease in GA that included a powerline, where deer are regularly taken around powerlines. I think power line, gas line cuts and railroad thracks are a plus for hunting. 18. I had a 1998 Frontier basic 4 banger that I purchased new and just got rid of last year. Used it 17 yrs then parked it when it needed a catalytic converter. Cannot complain really. Just some rust in the bed. That was my 5th Nissan and in total my family drove about 800,000 miles in the Nissans. So, I am a fan. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  19. Had a doe come by out of range, then another doe, a fawn and a goofy looking 1 horned spike.the spike came within 20yds, but I passed. The spike then got downwind and the trio high tailed ot out of there. The fawn was frisky. It would do 100 yd sprints and return to mama. Cool to see this late inthe season. 20. As some have said locks, etc. Only make them work a little harder to steal. Lost a ladder stand and a hang on and climbing sticks on 2 separate occasions, but that was on public land, even though chained and padlocked. Now I don't leave anything in the woods. Some guys leave hang ons, but remove the steps up to 8 or 10 feet and remove the seat. It has never crossed my mind to take someonelse's stuff, but then I was raised that way. 21. Pulled the plug due to rain. Bumped a doe and fawn 100 yds from stand. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  22. These are some of the Pocono deer. The fawn with the 4 white socks is unusual. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  23. Well it isn't raining yet...so I am heading in. Will stay until it rains or sunset, whichever comes sooner. My son is vacationing in the Poconos and has been taunting me with the photos of "conditioned" deer walking around approaching people looking for handouts. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
