  1. Glad to hear your ok.. Maybe the bike can be repaired.
  2. Little Ridge Archery, Gasport, NY.. Roys TechnoHunt video is awesome!
  3. Most that live by it take for granted, but it really is one of "Natures Wonder. Enjoy the thrill today!
  4. Obama can only do one thing well, campaign.
  5. Did Cuomo go by your place on the way back to Albany. Maybe he lifted it for a keep sake back at the cap., for a reminder when he losses the race for governor. Picked one up at the conservation building at the Erie County Fair Saturday. Scope was handing them out as people were walking around with them displaying quite nicely. Now they need to come out with hats and bumper stickers.
  6. Take the day off, kick up your feet, and have a cold one....... < grin>, LOL.
  7. Can't think of anything better than finding some of these boys on the game camera. It really gets the ticker pumping. Good luck grow, on your quest. Hope u put your tag on one. Would it satisfy for a wall hanger?
  8. I'm undecided whether seeing the bucks around now is a good thing. As memory serves me, u always had a strong showing of doe. My area usually sports far more doe, but this year, bucks seem to be the rule. Wonder, these things cycle?
  9. They encouraged people to bring their own bows back a few years ago, LOL. Wonder if it's a NY thing or just the instructor preference.
  10. I thought u put your cameras high. Ever since installing cameras high up, it has deterred my criminals from stealing $159 cams. Now I just have to figure out tree stands thefts.
  11. Their would be nothing to do with deer hunting on the list, so., we forgot the list years ago, LOL.
  12. On a 30 engine hp., 4 cylinder diesel, we always sold a 66" width tiller. The ideal would be to cover both wheel tracks, but u may want to go with a 60" width and offset over to cover 1 wheel track, with a 26 hp.. It will make a big difference what tire u are running on the tractor. The turfs and Industrials will be the widest, with the agricultural tread being the narrowest. A slip clutch on the tiller is a must. Make sure it slips ( loosen the spring bolts and tractor rotate the pto for a few), every year before first use. A gear driven outboard gearbox is also a nice design, never having to adjust the chain inside.( which know one does until the chain wears through the cover). The rear cover should be spring loaded adjusted, to level the tilled soil. I like to land plow first on my clay loam soil, as it makes for a deeper seed bed in the end. I would stay away with the lower priced (China) tillers. The medium $ tiller are nice and most today carry a super warranty.( $2000.) Edit: A hydrostatic drive tractor will be about 3 hp. less than a clutch model on the pto..
  13. Maybe we were half thinking about Spring Turkey Season, LOL. PS. Still thinking about that knife, are we?
  14. Was worried about no poults here, until witnessing 2 hens with 4 poults last week. I believe it to be one hens poults with the other keeping some distance. Seen another this am. with 3 poults, not to believed to be the first, but can't verify that yet until the flocks go together. No pics yet, but I'll get some, hopefully soon.
  15. We didn;t need it here. It was just starting to dry out enough to get in to plow some of the lower fields. First year, I needed front wheel assist to bale hay. Anybody know if u can mud in radish?
  16. Use Vaseline on your arrows, LOL.
  17. Oh I agree on the tractor, totally. I'm just saying, u survey the hunting community. Most will buy- own an ATV way before ever considering a tractor. They buy the ATV, spend big $ on them, then decide they want to get into food plotting, few years down the road, and find out their ATV isn't worth much. When I was selling large volumns of farm equipment, many people had ATV's to trade and I just had to send them up the road. Just a bad deal.
  18. We don't have the people raising the pheasants from chicks in our area. We always released 90+ birds at 15 weeks, ( with a game warden), through the 4H club. So did several neighbors within 4 mile radius. Pheasants were common to see. The modern generation don't participate in 4H, as much, and it shows going to the local fairs. The few birds that do get released, don't have as much of the wild in them, nothing more than hunting chickens.
  19. Most people already own an ATV, so I can see their point on just buying some implements for the back. A few ATV implements, do a half way decent job, but very few. Most lack the design and weight. An ATV mounted spreader is very handy, saves a lot of walking. They are siturations where I could take a ATV in, but not a tractor. They both have their place.
  20. I can see the mistake of pumping gas into a diesel, not the other way around.
  21. Yeh, what did she have, a funnel? Wonder how she got the diesel fuel past the little flipper thing?
  22. Deer: Gun; T- 140; NT 165" Archery; T 120; NT 145" Muzzleloader; T 140; NT 165" Bear: Gun 18" Archery 17" Muzzleloader 18"
