  1. Looks like "The Terminator." It has a cell phone, swiss army knife, a 999 volt taser, and a emergency locator transmitter good for 720 hours, People will be really shocked, you called them, LOL.
  2. A gentle reminder, Old Man Winter a knock'in.
  3. That would put February breeding with gestation at 200 days. Fresh signs of breeding, were still showing here then. I don't doubt it.
  4. Could have been from old seed from the supplier and or the wet summer conditions.
  5. Looks good. Lawdwaz is correct. The small square bales do make an excellent blind. I' ve used them for years. I found a piece of hog wire yesterday. Now you're have given me an idea for a waterproof roof. Thanks!
  6. Also, pheasant hunters, please watch for people in their tree stands.
  7. The fawns really have to work the bag for milk let down, this time of year. The doe is, more in likely starting to dry up, at that fawns age.
  8. Retire it. Not worth having one blow up in my face. I don't trust carbon arrows, that have passed through the body of an animal.
  9. Would have to be mature. By mature, 5 1/2 or older. Our standards are also set high by rack size. We operate on this principle, and have for many years.
  10. Covert pics look good. Maybe 2 cams at different angles are in order in some situations. Ah next invention to hit the market, rotational cam?
  11. So are 99.9% of the rest of television shows that air.
  12. I hope it returns this fall. I got a better kick out of it than gas bubbles in a full bathtub. Edit: LMBHO.
  13. It also depend on how much material was worked into, or plowed down into the soils. Decomposition of material in the soil can use a tremendous amount of nitrogen from the plant, not making it readily available. This is why I like to summer fallow my fall grain grounds. It allows the soils to break down plant material over the summer months and also rest the soil, so nitrogen, that is introduced into the soil, becomes available to plants life quicker.
  14. Does anyone know why this program was removed from air?
  15. And where did that countdown clock wounder off to? LOL.
  16. This state continues axing away at the tree. Sometime, that tree will fall. One had better hope it's notch was place in the right spot.
  17. Coated the spot with year old manure and got some plowing done yesterday. Soil still came up wet in spots. Going to hit it with the rototiller when right moisture. Hope to get my first oat planting soon. I plant just the common oats seed right out of the combine, as have excellent results for years. Going to post some pics on progression.
  18. Plowing, fitting ground for wheat and oat planting if it's to wet to cut, bale hay. Otherwise, I will fit in tree stand rehab and placement,as well as a wood stand in need of new location, complete tear down required. A new cardboard stand to be built along with a new step ladder stand, as we approach bow season, 4 short weeks away.
  19. Had to put a temporary fence around my pumpkin patch today. Caught turkeys in pecking holes in them. Last year, they flew over the fence and ate all my tomatoes. The goal was to establish a habitat for the turks, with I have done successfully, LOL.
  20. Neighbor brought over 2 bushel of early Macs yesterday. They look really good. I always like to make the pink apple sauce out of them. In exchange, I'm going to give him some of our canned pears, as he doesn't like canning, but loves the soft canned pears. This started years ago with us. We do many other neighborly things, as it has become a nice thing to do for each other.
