Yes! we don't let a little thing like rain stop the hunt. Love this sport way to much to miss a day, count of the weather. Now, we do use ethics when it comes to a shot. This morning for instance, rain stopped at 7:03, deer movement started at 7:33. If I got a shot, would of taken it. Keep track of the radar, to see where the end of the rain line is. Plenty of mornings like this one, rain early, then brightening skies after 8. No blood trail, no problem. Use your nose to find a deer. ( Terry Drury taught me that) I'm trying to get the most value, from my $98 fee.

Is that the piece of property that was condemmed? Honest Grow, just can't keep track of it all. Maybe post a link back to last years events, LOL.

In NYS., It's against the law, for a person to track a deer with a dog. Deer Search can legal.

Here's 2 that still have openings: Little Ridge Archery, Call Roy at 716-772-7598 between 1-8 pm; Middleport Rod& Gun Club, call Dave between 8-9 pm.at 716-735-3343. About 35 miles from u and still had openings as of yesterday. Hope this helps.

I almost had a deer with the car, don't know how I miss her. Slammed on the bakes and skidded sideways. Buck right behind on the run. Be careful out there.

I recently took a trapper ed coarse, and a statement the instructors said is still bothering me. They said no matter how hard a person traps an area, you cannot eliminate the population of a certain species. I disagree with them. Am I right or wrong? Back in the 70's, never give it any concern on the trap line. We were in a wet cycle with weather. Today with the drought conditions - dry cycle, things are different.

No rubs, but the scrapes came alive on the 27th. We're starting to pop!
