  1. And I thought the deer had to be put down by conservation or peace officer out of season. What the hell was I thinking?
  2. So; bottom line is Creekwood Archery has no warranty on their service work . A good question, one should ask before doing business with a company. Callbacks do cost money, usually covered by a good company. Maybe do to a great business enviorment New York State offers small business--------- NOT!
  3. Welcome. I use to frequently visit Groth Road quite often years ago. Don't forget about the Alabama Swamp area. Some great deer hunting there too.
  4. Still hunting the first spot, 47 years later. Still great hunting!
  5. Watched a guy drive over double solid lines on the oppisite side of road, on a state highway, come to the white line to try to take out a rooster pheasant once. It flew the living way just before impact.
  6. Sounds like some went to Akron Central here.
  7. Anyone ever stop by to see the octagon house north of Akron Park? Was quite the attraction, years ago.
  8. I Have some old fork lift tines with plenty of steel around to make one. It will, most likely weigh 3- 400 pounds. Lift cabbage tote boxes out of the field with it.
  9. I would like to make a 3 point hitch life carrier. I have place deer on grass mowers, back blades, 3 point moldboard plow, chisel plow, hell even on a 3 point disc once; whatever it takes, LOL.
  10. Still have all your thumbs? Ever plow with a trycicle?
  11. Seems around these parts, it's a fertilizing agent in that pouch.
  12. Try installing some thinner than standard nuts on the set screws. Tighten the set screws, then reef the nuts down. It may be all you need to keep tight. LOL, I always say try the rest, then move over to best, Kioti. I should have never sold my last DK 40 I had in stock. That 4 cylinder engine purred like a kitten. I never find another new one for 12 grand.
  13. I'm back to winter wheat. Rye seed is 2/3rd higher in cost and winter kills here. Could have been due to the wet Spring we had here. Had wheat over on poorer drained soil and it did well with surface drainage.
  14. That tilller sure does a nice job. Having the Kioti ahead of it is an added bonus. Hows the tractor working out?
  15. Erie County fair always a great time. Wear comfortable footwear, LOL. Grand kids love the I Got It games.
  16. Went up Rt 8, north of Utica last week on our way to catch the ferry in Essex New York over to Vermont. Lot of hens standing in the road but, not a poult with any. Lot of hunting camps on that highway. Great country!
  17. Never alone. Always have wildlife around me.
  18. Agricultural supported areas are where I place my bet. Pump the nutrition into them and I'll show you some big antlers. I know of only one sure way of keeping them on our property; hanging them on the wall.
  19. Got'em all out during the rain event of last week. Now all we need is October 1st., a little luck, a sharp arrow, and be present to win..
  20. You think it's fish or some facsimile there of.
