  1. Doing a motor on a 1949 front mount distributor 8N right now. I use to do dozens of these a year before 0% for 84 months came along. I still own a 1942 2n with a magneto and 4- 8n to do motors in.
  2. We do a 50x50 mixed with pork round and venison. We did 70 lb. and it came out good to our liking. Going to try a brat mixture this year.
  3. Birds eye view, wooly. Their not quite sure of that camera.
  4. I prefer the Nice Hip Boots." Never Yes Dear" though., that's what ruins them.
  5. The DEC. want photos sent to them, as they have made several wild goose chases. Hogweed has quite a root system that needs to be removed or it will grow back. The DEC. won't remove it any longer, but will discuss management options. They should do that on their Web site.
  6. I treat any of these look alike plants as hogweed, just to play it safe. Would hate to find out the hard way.
  7. Heck of a thing to look at while eating a tuna fish sandwich. Should of stuck to egg salad.
  8. Never got scoped, but did get hit in the head by a cab door once. Boy, did that sucker bleed.
  9. We gotta hear it, if you can bear the time.
  10. I was g I was going to have a few bourbon tonight but, I can't bear the news of all that waisted whiskey.
  11. That bear would have the sirens flashing on this side of the state. They'd be sending baskets down out of helicopters for student evac's.
  12. Why, so we can grin and bear it, LOL.
  13. I've felt a little smashed sometimes after drinking one to many bourbon.
  14. The canal festival starts soon in NT.. maybe he wants to be their bear traction.
  15. We have bears here in Niagara County.
  16. A bear passed me on the 990 today with his lights and siren on, LOL.
  17. A good team brings more than 4 grand today, LOL.
  18. I've had the rest, now try the best. I prefer our venison dogs 50% mixed with pork round topped with mustard, ketchup and relish; served with a side of potato salad, macaroni salad, home style baked beans and a nice ice cold Vernors ginger ale. Heaven can wait, LOL.
  19. Put a new shaft in my rototiller Sunday and worked up the entire garden. Plants were just waiting for that rain we had Monday. The entire garden now seems like fast forward with growth. Potatoes are poking through, waiting for the potato beetle and blight to come on. I got more cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower in for some late season product. Another planting of lettuce and some cherry tomatoes.
  20. I filmed a buck breeding a doe using an old VHS camcorder. Ten days later, I shot that buck. That was 13 years ago. Still have the tape.
  21. I plant the oat radish mixture end of July. Deer come in hard on the oats when the grain starts to fill. I use to use three plantings, a few acres of oats mid August to early September. They didn't much bother with them through bow season. Then frost-freeze would come and make them totally useless. I tossed things around a little till I found a planting that worked. The radish, this is one planting that will always be on my place, thanks to growalot.
  22. I quite sure the King buck's rack didn't become non-typical due to 4wd, LOL.
