I put them in the trunk of my suv. I put a tarp down, but still get blood on the inside. After season I spray interior down we bee spray to kill the ticks. Seems to work, but then I always have ticks to pick off me during hunting season. Sawyers does help alot.

I only buy new if needed for hunting. I have my lucky knitted red hat that my great grandmother made me when I was a kid. I had a hand me down jacket that I used for bowhunting that I sowed the pockets back on every year till this past season cause I finally brokedown and bought a new one. I guess I am a little cheap.

I fish mostly for crappie, walleye, and pike so I would say those are my favorite fish to eat. I did alot of trout fishing growing up but never liked the way it taste, so now only catch and release in the spring. Bullhead are alright early spring, but mushy come summertime. I hunt for whitetail cause I really enjoy all the different ways to cook it. As a kid did alot of squirrel, rabbit, grouse, and turkey hunting. Never really cared for wild turkey so don't hunt them anymore. Gave up on other small game too cause always seem to find a bb with my teeth.

I agree, all about equal rights. I've been trying to convince my wife if she would work 2 full time jobs I could be Mr.Mom. Plenty of time to hunt and fish

Talking with coworkers and friends, it baffles me how many hunters and gun owners are ok with age restrictions for guns going up to 21 years old.

Walmart is not marketed as a sporting goods store like field and stream is. Thats the difference. Field and stream is showing that they are not like minded with their customers IMO. I will do my hunting and fishing business elsewhere. Field and stream making the decision they did will only encourage gun laws that hurt law abiding citizens.

I called the phone number on the back of my sportsman advantage card and cancelled my account and removed myself from their mailing too.

I think it is an awful idea, and definitely a knee jerk reaction. If you can not buy a gun till 21 will they change the military also? I learned at a young age how to handle a gun.My grandfather sent me home at 8 with his 870 12 gauge he gave me, which my father kept and used for about 10 years. Got my first 20 gauge for my 13th birthday because I was taught safe handling and care of a gun which was kept in my bedroom and went with me when I moved out at 16 years old. It wasn't legal for me to own it but it was mine and an age limit didnt stop a minor from having a gun then , and won't now.

I enjoy the hunting opportunity NY has to offer. There is always room for improvement. The issue with changing something though is whats good for me maybe bad for you. My satisfaction with hunting in NY would be an 8.

How about we give up some of the rights of the press which include what is available to see on the net. Ideas of destruction are only a google search away. Do not need an AR to perform acts of destruction. Maybe even hold the the news accountable for what they report.

Laws save lives? There are all ready laws. About time the current ones are enforced before more are passed. Really murder is against the law but that didn't stop the shooting. IMO more gun laws won't niether.

I would give up social media, over publicized murders, graphic movies and video games for example before I gave up my gun rights. Everytime there is a mass murder publicized the next one wants to out due the previous one. I can turn on the news and see violent protest in other countries, and sometime ours. I can go to the movies and see the most grotesque things that a mind can imagine. I can go buy a video game that the winner is who kills the most people, and very graphic. Then we all sit around and wonder how these things occur. Huh, I wonder. I can give up those things first. What are you willing to give up?
