I've bought 800 dollar victorian tables with leather tops ,way better than Ethan allen for 36 bucks and resold for 500. And 2 Ethan allen end tables for 20 bucks.for both it's sad .

It's sad but if you got 500 for everything that would be a good deal for you, I buy furniture a lot from estate auctions it's very hard to get any piece over 100. I've bough whole bedroommsets Victorian solid walnut for 300 bucks.. crazy

Requirements for bucks change , they needed more open areas while in velvet as it's full of nerves and tender, once hard they can go anywhere, and this time of year its putting on weight for the rut on the mind, in 3 weeks does will be top priority. So now focus on food sources, but watch for doe concentrations for end of month and dec. Deer by me are now off fields and on apples, and nuts. The apples are almost gone so they will move on to acorn, corn, cereal grains, within a week. Soon they will be back after doe that are eating in fields still ,you know to move to where doe are when you see fawns by themselves.. a buck will herd a doe into Thickets and defendable areas so it can breed.. and keep rivals at bay..

Saw doe and 2 fawns in Westfield cross tracks and a single doe in conneaut ohio this am along tracks was pretty slow compared to what I normally see

Looking for fresh road kill deer.. best attractant and free you can get ,the tarsal off the rear legs. If not bloodied up.can get 2 or 3 hunts out of one depending on how hot it is . I use one and freeze one. As long as it's from over a mile.from your hunting area it works!! Doenst matter if doe or buck all deer come to see who is new deer in the area. Bonus If doe in heat. Can be a bummer if it's big buck will scare You can also get them from a friend who is lucky early.if they hunt different area, try them gloves and a zip tie thru to hang 2 to 3 ft off ground up wind from your stand.. you won't be disappointed

Down wind of the doe trail about 50 yards there should be faint trails and maybe some old rubs if thick. Bucks will follow trail down wind scent checking you need to be another 20 yards or so down wind of the buck trail.

You must have a good mast crop right now competing with your plots, right now the deer by me are on apples heavy.. soon will switch to corn and acorns

My bow stands I'm lucky to see 40 yards ot of most of them some only 20 , small shooting holes ,makes some people closterphobic, use your ears stop being a visual hunter, you dont need to see a deer at 100 yard walking in.. find the spot you expect a deer to be at, trail.crossing for example and find a tree 18 yards or so from it. Get a hang on because the right tree is rarely correct for a climber.. build a natural blind under trees if need be ...set up Downwind.. hunt . It's better to get a deer that you might see, then to see deer you only might get.

If it's that thick it's where you should be.

You can use in other states , no one says you have to stay in ny, and a lot less expensive bows work just as well. Remember when you could only.use shotgun..oh that was the worse.. lol ,follow the regs and hunt... simple
