Have quite a bit of venison left. Just hunting fur and bone.. As for plans b,c d,e etcetera.. they have been worked on all year. New stands/blinds constructed, set , hung , trimmed. I think I can hunt a different stand every day for all of archery season...

I always look for spots on lungs, liver ect.. has been a possibility but so rare..its nice our world news can show us every time a 1 in a million thing happens .. like watching that show monsters within me.. if you believe it's common you would never own a pet or go outside -
When it's hot and dry your scent dissipates very quickly plus thermals are strong ,so in reality it's a better day to hunt

I'd take fri sat my self ,but best rule of thumb is if your off go hunting crazy things happen.

The 11pt was 3/4 mile in, the 8 pt was only a few hundred yards. Bot. Hot days sweating like a pig..

Yes both early october was 84 degrees the day I shot the 11pt. I was sweating and stunk so bad I could smell myself. Was actually hunting in tshirt with jacket open.

Never hunted out that way though I've had invites through farmers I met over the years through friends there.. I'm to lazy to drive that far to hunt.

Just west of town .there is a flashing signal there now. Maybe 1/4 mile up on left . Museum owns 40 acres there has pole barn on it. . Oh good times visiting skinny dipping hole down the road a little bit and visiting the juice bar...

Usually shoot for meat but freezer is still pretty full so. Will be bone and fur hunting this archery season

Any in the top counties in region 8 or 9. Can check last years harvest reports for top counties ,usually.stuben,allegany,cattaraugus. Lots of state land in each. Most is untouched except.opening day and thanksgiving weekends

I havent trapped in years myself and guy that usually traps for me hasnt done it in 2 years as prices are/ were low. So my question is is any one interested in raccoon? I have my old traps and some vacation time I plan on putting the hurt on some raccoon. But I don't have any contacts for hides or whole animals .. not looking to make a buck just eliminate some population and not waste them.
