I had a friend that lived against a large park in Rochester.. he would catch squirrels and chipmunks that were raiding his raspberry bushes and transport them to far end if park.. after a while he realized they were beating him back to his house.. .he then decided to construct a gas chamber off his car exhaust and that seemed to solve the problem

Dont forget across the street and behind permission.. just saying it's been done for ever but it's against law, then factor in the town no discharge laws... lol And every arrow shot is a violation.. lol

Yes I would add a leveling depth control with an adjustable axle. Or skid plate to keep from digging to deep... like draft control on a tractor.. on reason I never cared for 4 wheeler they really are not designed for plot work.. after awhile the owners wreck the machines and buy a small used reactor for 1/4 or.less the cost of a 4 wheeler.. and do more.. my one friends 2 ATV are parked all the time.now only used when grand kids come over. Hes on the tractor all the time working, wishes he would of bought it years ago.. -

The issue I see with yours is it will just make furrows with out a lot of repetition, a second gang off set behind it would increase its effectiveness and allow you to add cinder blocks for weight.. you basically made a field spring tooth harrow with out springs you can simply buy these springs and add sweeps and bolt or weld onto your frame and make your own.. -

A simple planker with spikes thru it works wonders and no welding skills needed.. just 3 2x10 x how ever long you want or can pull. Lapped and nailed together like siding . Then drive large spikes through making it a homemade spiked harrow that you can then flip over and use a a drag as well. . Not needed flip up against a tree and if you used pressure treated will last for years stored right next to your plot. -
Looks good, I would of kidney beaned the shape of it but you should have limited access for deer entering the plot from down wind giving you at least 2 good stand locations.from that pile of stumps ,although the "buck trails may be back in the edge of the timber depending how thick it is just scent checking and looking out into field from relative safety. You may want to feather the down wind edge if timber to block their view leaving clear access in appropriate places for stands locations...

Hope that mound of stumps is on downwind side of the plot for you

I mix mine . Radish benefits the entire field.that way

Clover will over take the grass in fall and spring, if you can keep mowed a few times over summer it can completely take over the grass, will take a bit as grass seeds are.dormant and will keep sprouting. I'd seed in mid late August and.let it start and frost seed early.spring as supplement.. If you could spray it with roundup. And wait a week and then plant you will get better and faster results

You could go and throw some turnip seed on the edge and in 1st couple of rows .. cheap and makes nice little draw if corn doesn't mature.

Put add on fb market place, many will come for free especially if easy access, I had the guy that now has hives on my place took one out of my wall, we literally ripped out the electrical panel and drywall. , he was surprised.i was willing to do that for a bee hive, but I didnt want them dead..

As I originally said the hst sub compact and compact are designed for the homeowner/ large estate. Basically to mow lawns and do occasional " farm " work.. any professional farmer would have a skidsteer for loader work and a geared tractor to work fields.. you can buy the home owner version. If your not familiar with geared clutches and steering brakes and yes you will love it .. val is familiar with tractors and mowing was not in his original statement , brushhog and food plot work.. thus an older geared tractor he can get at excellent price and be more than he needs for same price as a used undersized hst.. It's not a pissing match ,simply recommending what was asked . And geared is absolutely way to go..
