Some people have to much time and take this way to serious..
-
No it's on 16 between town of Holland and end of 400 .. on east side of road.. use to be pats tack and western wear.. I believe it's changed names.
-
Yes I don't know new name of it but I have stopped and looked..
-
Right at the horse ..I'm not sure if it's Holland or south wales.. but they have nice stuff
-
Just look up experiments with kids and guns there are many with videos..one has gun in toy box .1st group of kids enter and open box pull out gun and shoot each other with it..(not loaded of course) 2nd group enters same set up kids find real gun in toy box and immediately tell adult in room with out touching it.. amazing what education can do

Never lost in nature.. but lost in society and ediqute in social situations all the time.

There is one on 16 in holland/south wales.. as well as the Indian reservation in silver creek . You can get online at historical reproduction..and there is a hat.manufacture in buffalo that will customs make one for you. But that's $$$$$

The issue today is not guns it's the destruction of neighborhoods and family units.. when inwas a kid I would be ratted out by a neighbor calling my parents before I got home.. grandparents and f amilys lived in same neighborhoods.. one parent incomes were enough to live on. Parenting was done by community unknowingly it was just done..the old man on the corner scolding you for throwing rocks. Now video games and day care are the 1st step in raising kids.. many experiments of kids with real.guns have been done .those that know real guns from home don't mess with or touch them kids that don't are pulling the trigger and pointing at people.. Perhaps it's time we make gun education mandatory in schools same as sex education. https://www.theblaze.com/news/2016/03/01/experiment-tests-kids-raised-around-guns-and-those-shielded-from-them-one-side-of-gun-debate-will-likely-be-shocked-by-results

Do deer migrate and if so how far will they travel
G-Man replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
Deer will migrate and herd in winter much more so in northern climates. They also disperse in fall and may go many miles in doing so. There have been many studies on both.. I believe the longest a deer traveled is close to 30 miles if I remember correctly -
I need to VENT!!!!!!! Because I'M MAAAAD!! I just went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. I'm waiting in the self-checkout line and I dropped a $20 bill (yep that's me trying to hold everything, because I didn't want a cart). The lady in front of me picked it up. I thanked her and held my hand out, and she said, "The things found on earth are kept by the collector," and walks away. I was like ummm NO!! I looked at the person behind me standing in line, they couldn't believe it either.... this can't be real , right?! So I took a deep breath and I turned back towards the lady/thief/or whatever you wanna call her and as I approached her I said, "Do I look like I'm in the mood?! Let's not play games. Go ahead and give me back my money." She had the nerve to ignore me completely and TRIED to walk away from me... SOOOOO, of course I left everything and followed her into the parking lot as I was calling the police (because of course somebody's about to go to jail... not sure who at this point though, her or me). She was almost running at this point to get away from me, which was the first sign of real intelligence ...this lady had shown. When she got to her car she put her bags on the ground trying to quickly get her trunk open. I was boiling at this point! I decided that her “finders keepers" rule just presented the perfect opportunity for a great teachable moment... SO... I went into track star mode and ran full speed, and grabbed her grocery bags, and headed to my car yelling, "The things found on earth are kept by the collector!" I hopped in my car ignoring her every attempt to get my attention. I was outta line I'll admit, but she was too. I was HOT, but I had a sense of satisfaction at the same time. Lemme say this, anyone who knows me knows that as an adult I've never stolen anything so this is completely out of character for me. But anyway I get home and open the bags and what did I find? 3 packs of rib eye steaks 3 pounds of wild caught salmon 2 pounds of potatoes Everything to make a bomb salad And... A bottle of Wine I cant help but think to myself... WOW! Not bad for $20 dollars!!!!!!! In all seriousness.... this is just a joke to see who would read the entire post. If you made Hopefully I just put a smile on your face! Laughter is the best medicine

If hill is very steep tractor will go up anything in reverse.. I cross a creek with mine all the time. Even graded out the banks with rear blade.. if your afraid of a tractor I suggest you drive a few (even better if your friend has one to try..) just remember you need to put clutch into stop brakes are meant to steer and final stop.. the motor and gearing has enoughpower on a 12 to tractor to keep going with all your weight on brakes if clutch is out. My friend bought 2 big atvs years ago did plotting with them after he bought some new property that came with tractor.. the atv have not left the barn in several years except for grand kids to play with..and most of the time they want to go on tractor ride..

If your doing a large.steep place I wouldn't till as it will wash with rain. Spray and scratch.. plant with clover or birdsfoot trifoil.
-
I have steep hills and go up and down ..8 m is 8ft wide amd low and has wide front end..if feel.safer.on that then a atv or utv..
-
If your serious about plotting a good used 8n will only put you back 1200 or so and you do much more in a lot less time not to mention the wear and tear on your expensive toys.

I wonder how many lives this feral cat has
G-Man replied to goosifer's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
Friend has an old field and stream mag that has the advertisement of "Protect your small game kill all feral cats!" Its on a grwat litograph of a cloud of small game floating to heave. And an army.of cats marching at you ... -
You don't want fruit fist year on any transplanted tree .. . You want it's energy. Put into roots.. and yes you can buy older trees that will produce in one or 2 years from many local.nurserys.. but you need to. Knock off and fruit that sets the 1st year . So energy goes in to roots.. If your planting for wildlife do not forget to care the trunks or the deer will kill them rubbing and browsing.
-
Only in this country.. Europe doesn't have warning labels and lawyers aren't allowed to advertise...some thing we should adopt..
-
I don't know why I kill..I just do.. same.deer.can walk by 100x during the season then one day bang.. I think initially.i did to show inwas capable.. later for.meat.. now ? Idk just when the feeling strikes it seems

Secondly if doe tags are cut 22% that only translates at a 2% decrease in take as the percent of doe harvested on said tags is only around 15 % so do the numbers really matter in the grand scheme of things?
-
The Dec is by using a formula and counts at processors.. the numbers are in no way accurate but they are close enough to do what is mandated by them by law. Their main purpose is environmental pollution. And hunting dollars are siphoned off for that cause every year as being good for game. Changing furnaces from coal to gas in NYC really does nothing for deer in nys but it's good for the environment and there for good for game same ad dredging the Hudson river.. To think the Dec is any thing close to game management agency is the same as thinking Hillary Clinton is a model with only the world's benefit as her only concern.

Use to .. not so much anymore..so much more to life and so much else to do..
