I still don't see loss of hunting licence even if it is inn50 states..they are hunting with out one anyway and would.prolly.do so again.. Now if they drove a vehicle to poach to.get.to h7bting area or to transport the game ..lost of driving licence would be much more hurtful.. especially if tied into other states.. that is punishment as well as possibly life changing..like a dwi...

I would heat it up and run the water.. if there is a problem then you know it.. rewinterize again when done..

Wny and cny will give you best areas to start looking .look for statreland that's about 2 hrs or more from any major city.. most public land hunters do not travel far( think all the nyc hunters in the catskills) while the Adirondacks may hold older deer the population is Much lower and hunting much harder.. study maps and look at hunting areas.. first few years you will learn where 90% of pressure will be.. your job it to find the place that only 1% will go to and start your scouting there.. remember the way you get to the area may be difficult but there may be easier way to access .. canoe. Or hike in from other entrance/ direction

And the dog is an indoor fair weather dog..it's prolly never primed it's fur by acclimating to the cold.. think of it like this in the fall you bundle up.when it's 50 out.. come spring 50 is heat wave break out the grill and shorts.. same holds true for dogs.. Hes come in relief in 2 games and throws to recievers not te or rb. After a pace has been established he performs...just needs to get over jitters of starting a game..the long ball is needed or jags wil just stuff the box against run..I like McCoy but 90 of a rb is getting into open field.. that's the line and long ball.. Bow and muzzleloader are both called privledge because you cannot buy them seperate from hunting.. it only allows you the added privledge of hunt during that season.. ( done before bonus tags were added for each season) if you could buy seperate like most states you would just get tags for that season and not need a gun hunting course.. think of one buck rule and what season you want to hunt in..

Depends on breed and if they have been kept outside..many large breeds have 2 hair coats an undercoat and a longer coat. People do not want to hear this but we are the ones that are uncomfortable. Or create the problems.. small and hairless dog breeds that would die in northern climates are kept. Just arguing about a photo someone took of dog in back of pickup.. was a large breed standing behind cab. Going down road.. everyone screaming animal.cruelty report it.. the dog prolly wanted to go in back use to where it rides.. had tool.box in back if dog was cold it would lay down and curl up to get out of wind. But every knows it's cruelty.. dog looked like it was having good time.. How many times do you just see horses or cattle just standing out in field even when shelter is available.. as long as dogs aren't chained out in open with no shelter I really just mind my own buisness.. seriously people in the suburbs would all have heart attacks if they saw all the animals that live in the country..working dogs..farm cats. Pigs horses cows just having fun in the snow.. If reasonable shelter is given or available animals do quite fine. Look at ccoyote. Bobcats..lynx. rabbits, bear, deer..birds, as long as they can get out of wind they do pretty well..

Yes this game can be won..but it will.be done by defence unless tyrod gets hurt and Peterman steps in relief( he's great relief just not a starter yet)

Had a member on here hit a really good buck with archery at my place.. high shoulder.. 3 weeks later im lookijg to fill a doe tag when this enormous deer comes downthe trail behind me. Gets close enough that it doesn't quite look like the slob of a doe I thought it was ..8 yard s away and incan see a patch of hair missing high on its shoulder and can see pedicales scabbed over.. I would bet it was buck member hit... can't say for sure but body was huge and pedicales were very large.. I passed and stopped hunting doe in that area ..he should be a true boomer this year...

Well the real problem is you have extrapolate numbers for N.Y. as x bow falls under muzzleloader permit so you do not.know how many crossbow hunters there actually are.. though new tags give crossbow as harvest weapon you cant get success rate as numbers of licence bought is an unknown.. but it should show an increase in harvest numbers compared to bow..

,sorry i was referring to Ohio's reported numbers and how now their combined archery season takes more deer than their gun season.. bow season length full inclusion would yield similar results in ny will be interesting in seeing success rate numbers from N.Y.
