I can tell you from.experiance a bear that is still breathing is not something I'd think about putting anything smaller than a mag 44 or 45 cal in. Down never means out! They are tough quick moving and when you get close enough to use a pistol you are definitely in range for a last minute move. I've done it with a rifle and nearly.been killed and would of.been had it had the mind to the 1st and 2nd time it charged..

Metal and it's form of punk are truly the only music that expresses angst. While blues and jazz can take you on a story ..it's that a story.. Metal is a feeling or.mood... still trying to figure out what new country is trying to say or convey beside give me money...

Personally I hate hunting the rut. And I do believe some of the largest bucks do not.participate in such foolishness. One or two doe will search them out.and they do not have to move to find more

First. You cannot kill a mature buck in a spot it does not exist. You need to have seen it or trust a person who has seen it. ( trail.cams do a,lot of this now. ) Second . Long range scouting of the area to learn a pattern ( a mature deer may have an attention, bubble of 1/2 To 1 mile. Where they keep track of every sound.). so driving up to an area may be enough to spook them let alone hearing a car or truck door slam. Third. Your use of topo and Ariel photos are a great help. You need to find an access route into and out of the area you plan to set up. Fourth. You need to set up in an area to give yourself ample legal shooting light.. Fifth. Once you find the spot the 18 yard spot to hang your stand will be by wind direction.. not how straight the tree is for your stand. And only hunt said stand when conditions are right . It is far better to be in the right tree to kill a deer that you might see than to see a deer that you might kill. I have a chance at a mature buck about every other year where I hunt. And have taken a few. Do not waste your time holding out for a 140 plus if the area your in does not have one. You will just become frustrated an make mistakes as well as become bitter and generally be a Pita to your friends and hunting partners

May you find many pots-o-gold before your whiskey sours and clover covers your rotting corpse!! Happy St. Patricks day my friends!!

A great source of food for deer and rabbits.!!

Would be pretty effective as a bear attractant
-
Hmm how did you filter the grease?

Scotch bright pad on both.. sand paper is very.agressive or if very fine actually hurts the call. Chalk on a glass.call works well as well.

I'd look at a 45 long colt, 454. And 45-70 gov. The 44.mag is possible with proper bullet but other calibers are buy and shoot. No extra homemade reload needed.

Best explanations of the bad system they use

Best method for loser style bracket tournament.

The chestnut was a major component. I have quite a few and the deer stand under them waiting for the nuts to drop.. they are delicious and sweet.. hope the re introduction takes off

Not required. I wear it gun season usually a hat or a vest..sometimes both.. I own my own property but someone always sneaks on I know people that dont and i think they are crazy.. deer dont see it or al least dont seem to care. Like camo patterns it's all in your head if it looks good to you want it. No one shows you or thinks about what it looks like to deer...

Awful arrow placement.. not my.thing but if your trying to show a kill shot then at.least.put arrow in killing position

I was always told if you know you hit the deer where you should it's dead somewhere.. glad you found it even the best of us lose one from time to time. I would say this deer died quickly as if was prolonged the horns would of probably dropped from stress and infection. . To bad you never.smelled him ..of course if it was cold and he was eaten quick you wouldn't of either.. had a nice 7 I knew I hit well.. lost the blood fo7nd him week later by seeing crows drop down from tree tops a few hundred yards from where I lost it when I was in different stand.. I walked by it several times with in 20ft as well as my helpers when we did body search and never saw it..

That would be nice I think..heavy things to hold all the hunt..

I've only.seen snippets..and I wonder have they ever shown who cuts all the lawns ? And maintains the fields? Seems if I don't do it every week my lawn looks much worse then the aces they go thru...

Well said! I stopped shooting same target to group arrows for a life like setting one shot per target no range finder .Nock draw aim release..on to next target.. one of.my.best friends aims forever at a target has great groups amd.robinhoods arrows ..but put a deer in front of him and his method falls apart.. I truly believe the game is mental.. I love putting a target under limbs or behind trees where you have to pick much narrower target points or take the high lung or liver shot the angle presents.. I know there is a wait for perfect shot feeling out there but I'd still be waiting and would of passed up many deer waiting for perfect..instead I practice realistically and built my.confidence to make the shot that presents itself

I guess it's all about being on the same team.. and following captains orders...

Only team they have problems with is new England and they can pull off surprises..they need a qb that throws down field is all

Experiences grafting fruit trees?
G-Man replied to stubborn1VT's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
This is the method I've had good luck with. Sealing the graft with grafting wax.. -
Qb are signing quickly..looks like bridge water to jets next.. in would of like to see buffalomgive him. A shot he's basically a 3rd yet qb with 5 years of knowledge.. a prove it contract would of given buffalo some extra at the position
