Used ladder for 1st year ...works

I have lost a lot of seats on hangons and padded bench seats to critters and now just.make web seats out of safety harnesses and carry a thick. Thermal seat with me.for hangons, and just put pad on metal.frame on ladders and secure with straps . Last long time and easily fixed or replace.

Iooked and the do not have model I bought last year this year, though they do have the roofs I bough large rectangular, these are nice when fabric is gone I can simple.screw on corrugated pvc and have a roof as frame is all metal.

Not a fan of.mesh seats. I always look for.metal construction and support I can add pads or hot seats. Fabric wears out and gets chewed by critters, nothing worse than getting to a stand and having seat missing

I picked up a couple from.sportsman guide last year had full platform , front rail fold in half and flips over on itself allowing for vertical bow while sitting out front of stand, bonus is the seat folds up as well and is full bench with pad. Not a fan of.most.ladders as rail is in way a lot.for bow. This one seems to be everything I like and was really.purchased for our oldest.member of camp. Very reasonable priced and full support on bench is important as pads wear out and you still have full bars you can simply use hot seat on. When seat is shot.

Dig a pit blind , pop up brushed in on edge set it now, tripod with blind... lots of options.. we tend to be visual if you can over come the not seeing part short close range shots become the norm. it's best to be in a spot where you might get deer you see ,than to see deer that you might get.

Young barred. Have been getting them on camera in lower apple orchard chasing rabbits , they were in upper orchard ( top of hill.vs bottom) today where I was hanging stand. God good video but I dont know how to.get it to post here.

PesonallyI'd move stand to 20 yards from yellow line.....having said that Ive seen more huck spook from a buck decoy so I removed antlers, Have had luck with doe decoys out in field and it's all dependant on wind direction. Upwind 40 yards from you, and attach a white rag or tissue paper to ass. For movement. I like it 1/4ing away as doe will approach head on and bucks will circle down wind and from.rear. Do not put scent on decoy. I use an wick on an. Old arrow under it about 18 in off ground. When done for day remove and seal up.scent dispenser and I stash decoy under a tarp or bush by stand. Taco got his big 10 with bow using this method in a hurricane force wind while bowhunting in snow. At my place . Buck wouldnt leave and kept.coming back in till it offered him a shot in a shooting lane. Have had much more success with doe decoy over a buck decoy

Since I Got clutch in little kubota put homemade.carry all on it and , resided what we call the lower box blind that really needed it as the old siding was falling off and shredded. started hanging more sets for deer season got 2 up and only 4 more to go ... season is getting close

The problem is a management area is huge, and doe home.ranges are not, I am in a low area with no chance for a second. But I need to take 10 doe a year off the property to keep population stable, either sex and antlerless only tags are how it gets done .I cannot get.enough doe tags for my.property as only.1/3 or.less have a chance at one. If you dont have a lot.of doe then dont shoot any, if you do find a legal way to take your objective.

That's why you buy one , doe.tag.valid anywhere...

If the bear is on a hame range/travel trail , it will return, kill that bear and another will use trail. A second pic and that spot will have bear for your life as long as none alters landscape significantly. I have 3 stands that bear are seen out of regularly. 34 others a bear has never been seen out of. All on approximately 300 acres.. Though this has been discussed here many times most bear guides reccomend a 30 cal or larger rifle for bear. If you have a chance of seeing one make sure you have enough gun. ( smaller calibers work but usually require special bullets / loads to optimize your chances, most are made for deer[thin skinned game]).

Average size for ny 200- 300 lbs...
