  1. Amazon, $10. Once you have a working example you can easily make your own version. Nice to have these in the shed, pole barn etc...
  2. Drill two holes, compress bucket to get threaded rod through then attach nuts. Keep it loose enough that it spins freely.
  3. This is what ł use, you put a ramp on either side of the spinner and they pile in. ł use the Pink RV antifreeze because it's $3/Gallon and it has a sweet smell which doubles as an attractant. Get a $1 fish net from the pet section and just fish em out as found.
  4. Could it be... the Amish have uprooted to Hungary and the deer know... They know.
  5. ł still wear Cabelas Duratrax 2, they are from either 2013 or 2014 and going strong. 18" tall, quiet while walking and warm. ł layer my thermals in to two pairs of omni wool socks. Don't think they sell them anymore. Irish setter and muck both have great insulated rubber boots.

    Bone Saw

When ł say process ł am referring to butchering and carcass breakdown for disposal. Beginning to end. The owner of one of the places ł hunt has a couple dogs, his only rule is don't leave the carcasses because he doesn't like the dogs getting to them. Burying them just makes it fun for them so they get broke down and into a garbage bag they go. When ł bring them to the city for processing ł get some good reactions, can't just put a carcass in the garbage tote so that's another situation where ł'm hackimg through the sternum, pelvis and ribs.

    Bone Saw

My field kit goes with me wherever ł hunt. On a number of occasions ł have helped others process their harvest when they're underprepared, doesn't hurt to have it and not need it.

    Bone Saw

Seen this, very similar design as the one ł broke. Mine broke first use, dismantling the rib cage none the less. Butchered the doe in the city, had to slim her down since ł couldn't just drag the carcass in to the woods. The pink paracord is because my buddy dropped my good bone saw in the woods last year while ł taught him how to field dress one. We never found it, wasn't going to happen to this one.
  9. Any suggestions on a good bone saw for the field kit? This one broke, customer service was good about it and they're sending me a replacement but ł want something that will hold up longer than a year or two.

  12. ł cringe reading those kinds of stories. No shortage of idiots.
  13. Concept that popped up in my news feed. https://www.maxim.com/.amp/gear/kevin-pocket-pistol-2019-1 This thing looks like an accidental discharge nightmare.
  14. ł have open carried my Great Uncles .357 as a sidearm a couple times when ł hunted with his 30-06 pump rifle in his honor after he passed away. ł hate peeling layers to take a leak, could you imagine having to peel layers when one comes in range because your implement is tucked in your jacket. Have seen a number of fellow hunters using rigs similar to the one pictured. One gentleman was unfortunately toting an oxygen tank due to medical issues and may not have been able to enjoy hunting if he didn't have a similar set up and a friendly ride on the quad to a blind.
  15. Looking good Wooly. ł look forward to seeing it as it progresses.
  16. An empty Gatorade bottle is a must for all day sits.
  17. Garbage can plus water, dip for 15 or so minutes. No holes in the fur that way, there's probably someone near by you that would take the fur everytime you catch one.
  18. Youre welcome. ł didnt reccomend a IR unit for the same reason ł won't weigh in on system choice. There are a lot of variables unique to any given setup that make it hard to offer advice without walking the area to have a better understanding of challenges and needs. Read reviews and make sure there's a good warranty. If going wireless understand that just like someone can get on your Wi-Fi with a little know how the same will then apply to your security system which is troubling. Burying conduit and running cable shouldn't be that far off in price compared to installing WiFi repeaters and adds a layer of security in my opinion. Understand ł am not a security expert, just have installed a few systems in home/business and learned the hard way that night mode without an IR boost is practically useless.
