  1. Looks amazing, great work! I will post pics of my new box when I get done with it, probably in the next month or so. Not as fancy as yours but it will get the job done. Question, is it just the camera angle or is the base leaning to the right some?
  2. I cannot believe this was the first time I have seen this, spot on!
  3. I have a 2019 F-150 XLT Supercrew with the 5.0 V-8 and a 3.55 rear diff and I have zero complaints except for one of my rear license plate lights went out (under warranty) and I have to take it to the dealer tomorrow to get fixed. Other than that, just a solid truck and I am getting 18.5 MPG daily driving and I actually got 24 MPG with the truck fully loaded with furniture (bed and cab) with the cruise set to 78 MPH on I-90. Couldn't friggin believe it. One thing to note between GM and Ford, and I am not a mechanic but I heard this from the A-Tech in my service department who is a GM guy through and through. He actually prefers the Ford 4X4 system over the GM 4X4 system. The Ford is a vacuum operated system and GM employs an electronic system. He claims the Ford system is infinitely easier to work on and diagnose problems and also more reliable. Take it for what it's worth.
  4. I have had great luck with this setup. https://exodusoutdoorgear.com/collections/cameras/products/render-and-sp18-bundle?variant=33427896696918 With the solar panel and lithium ion batteries, even with our harsh winters I can get 8 months of life out of the camera. The Scouttek app that it runs on is very easy to use, and customer service is top notch. The camera comes with a 5 year warranty against theft & vandalism. Last year I had to use the warranty on 2 cameras that were destroyed by bears, and the process was completely pain free and quick.
  5. If you go to buds, they are selling 9mm FMJ for OVER a dollar a round, .99 with a subscription
  6. What brand, load of 7mm .08? I will, of course pay a reasonable finders fee...
  7. I just logged on and saw this thread. If you are still in need I will sell you a box of Longbeard XR 3inch #6 if you PM me.
  8. It would certainly set the tone for the magazine limit challenge currently percolating in the 9th circuit. That will be ready to go to the supremes by 2022.
  9. I am fully recovered and feeling fine, thank you for asking. I will never judge someone who makes the decision to get the vaccine, as I view it as a personal choice. I am young and relatively healthy, take pretty good care of myself and have no underlying conditions (that I know of) so even before I got sick I wasn't really that worried about it. Elderly people, people with severe underlying conditions and those amongst us (this does not pertain to anyone on this board as far as I know) who live their life gripped with fear and wear N-95 masks in their cars with the windows rolled up all alone should get this, simy for their mental health alone. This is just my opinion. If your opinion is different and you feel you should get it, by all means God Bless.
  10. I am definitely NOT getting the jab, for all the reasons already discussed but mainly for the fact that I have already had the virus. Everyone I know that had the virus then recovered and rushed out and got the vaccine was either super sick or violent ill.
  11. Yote. Doubt a fawn would be cruising solo this time of year. Have you seen any deer recently on this cam?
  12. Scope on my rifle coming down my stand morning of opener. Luckily I had a backup rifle, which helped me connect on a doe in the afternoon. So it all worked out in the end, thank God.
  13. Welcome! I was in the same boat, stopped hunting when in the Army and mostly hunted PA state land before starting up here again. I have gotten a lot of useful information on this board over the years. 30-30 is a good woods gun, but 45-70 is a bit much for whitetail or even black bear for that matter. If you want an option in a lever action that gives a bit a bit more knockdown power than the 30-30, look at .35 Remington. I did, and never looked back.
  14. This thread is from 5 years ago, anybody on here that currently uses this stuff? Thoughts? Asking because I just bought some Pete Rickard's Indian Lure, and come to find out it is not doe urine but some synthetic stuff, and am now super skeptical...
  15. You hunt from a ground blind in the woods?
  16. I wish I could find Core-Lokts ANYWHERE around here...
  17. This is the reason I never go out without permethrin treated clothing anymore.
  18. Southern Zone only. I don't understand why they don't include rifle, only Bow & Muzzy... https://www.dec.ny.gov/press/121333.html
  19. I own both the 9 Performance Center and just recently picked up the Performance Center in .45. Carried the 9 for a couple years, put well over 1,000 rounds through it and less than 5 failure to feed/eject. It was bad range ammo coupled with well over a couple hundred rounds through it at one time. .45 Shield is surprisingly easier to control than the .40 cal. I rented a Shield .40 at the range and also spent some time with a Glock .40 that my friend who is an Albany Police officer carries and this .45 Shield shoots better than either of those two. I like the .45 because you get a much more powerful defense round than the 9mm, and only lose one round of capacity. S&W did an absolute fantastic job designing this gun, as it is almost the same size as the 9mm and carries almost the same. I barely notice the difference. Springs in the mags are super stiff at first. I loaded them up with range ammo and let em sit loaded for a couple days, problem solved. As for holsters, I run a Galco King Tuck and a Galco Combat Master (yes, I am a huge Galco fan), depending on the situation (how deep I need to conceal that day).
  20. Funny I came upon this thread, same thing happened to me. Had my cell cam strapped to my back deck and this esteemed gentleman decided to come by and pay a visit. This was in May. Our cul de sac has had 4 attempted burglaries from the start of the lockdown to now. He peered in the window, saw me and my wife and decided he didn't want any of this. My mistake was I forgot to put on my porch light.
  21. You are better than this man, c'mon. And you do know she is Slovenian, not Russian, right?
