    Down here in Chemung county we justngot slammed by rolling thunderstorms.. Creek behind the house went from dry to almost 4 feet in a little over an hour . 2 more feet until it's over the banks again . One year and a day from this

    Great story. My monster I never had pictures . Many encounters over 5 years. Only ever had one shot but there was another oblivious hunter on the other side of him . He ended up getting hit by a car . People that hit him didn't have a clue what a nice buck he was . Trooper ended up with him . He had the rack repaired when he had him mounted. I occasionally still have dreams about him . My hunting partner and I called him Crusher. That was 30 years ago. Biggest buck I ever seen on the hoof.

    Always hated them damn left handed scissors ... . I have scissors with blue tape on them nobody is allowed to use . Pressure on the cutting edge will change how they cut .

    I understand what your saying ... I get it . And yes I can be closed minded that's np. Just the way I was raised... people over profit ... people over machines. People pay taxes and spend money ... eliminating people contributes to corporate greed. Besides I like to talk to people... I'm not in that big a hurry..

    Dont know ... I do know when lowes put in self checkout they layed off workers .. saved a few bucks and put a single mom out of a job. Family friend with 2 kids . That's close enough for me .

    Only 10 % of the population is left handed . I am one of them . I work in the trades . I am an industrial mechanic . Funny thing is with all the electricians and mechanics in our plant we actually are around 40% lefties . 5 women in the trades and 3 are lefties. Something to do with abstract reasoning skills . As a kid the penguins use to think they could beat the left handedness out of me . That never took. HAPPY LEFTY DAYS TO YOU ALL IN YOUR RIGHT MINDS.!!!!!!!

    Most all the time I'm alone . Might have somebody opening day half a day then maybe one or two days through the season

    Big bear. I would shoot it . Hunting southern tier I have had opportunity but I figure I will shoot and have one mounted in my life so I'm holding out for a big bear. We have a sow that regularly raises triplets and last year she had quads. I had the opportunity 2 years ago to shoot her as she was alone and had kicked of her cubs. I gave her a pass. Some day a monster will show up... or not .

    It's always something when you own a boat . Got to love backyard want to be mechanics. I actually like to tinker but cant stand fixing stupid. It will be nice when you get it the way you want it .

    I struggled with blossom end rot a while back . I buy a couple boxes of blood and bone meal at lowes . I toss a handful in the hole before I put in the plant . Works well.

    Thank god they were all sold ... the wife thought I should call . She has mentioned it a couple times since I showed her the pictures.She thinks my lab needs a play mate . I told her only if she was a blonde ...

    Picked up rifle today . Pretty gun . Never shot a thumbhole gun before. Seems a little awkward . Stopped off at my property on the way home ... Had to shoot it . Set up a piece of scrap wood . Didn't have a long range area set up to shoot . Grass is waist high. Shot 30 yards off hand . I have to spend some time adjusting the scope focus and leveling the crosshairs but it shot ok .

    I dont tend to debate opinions mine or anybody else's. We are all entitled to our opinions .... whether we agree or disagree for what its worth. Remember I'm still in my right mind
