Now you are tying to talk all high and mighty about something else you are also clueless about. You and your buddy should hook up and do some research yourselves. Whitetails are livestock. Livestock have an end market. The end market for whitetails is the headgear. The sooner clowns like you figure that out the better you will be. If it was not needed then why would there be a minimum of 500 farms and ranches in all but a handfull of states in the country? Ny alone has over 500 and we still cant supply enough bucks for the market. So you tell me all about what hundreds and hundreds of hunters want. Yes hunters. I would put guys like you in a pen, show ya pics of buck, give you a week to kill him and you would walk out looking like a fool.

Sitting back watching this conversation is deffinatly interesting. However. "To each is their own" is a fenced hunt for me? No not realy. But, I say if that what drives you. Good for you. These ranchers are not taking the deer from the wild. So it is not hurting anyones hunting. It just happens that in the very begining of deer, these 2 animals ( farm raised and wild ) are related. And facts are facts 99% of all the whitetail behavior we all study and try to learn about comes from deer ranchers and biologists. So yes I would have to say I would trust the words of any deer farmer, when it comes to anything about deer health.

I think it would be interesting to see how many " trophy " deer racks are on peoples walls shot behind a fence? I watched one on tv the other day with the owner riding around on a 4 wheeler pushing the deer around the enclosure for the hunter. The deer got to the fence and turned around and the guy shot it. Kind of made me a little sick that people would call that hunting. Just pure lazyness if you ask me. But atleast it keeps them from shooting deer from around my hunting areas so whatever. But unless were talking atleast 3000 acres and 4 ft fences its not hunting.

I'm sure someone who has read and studied the subject of CWD and has become so expert that you would make a big thing about other people's ignorance on the subject might have come across the word more than just a couple of times. It's not a case of simple mispelling, it is a mis-pronounciation of the word as well. I'm just trying to help you become the expert that you already think you are.
